It's the early 1900's and John Clayton (Casper Van Dien) is about to be wed to Jane (Jane March). While at his bachelor party he sees a vision of an African village being plundered by Nigel Ravens (Steve Waddington) and his associates. John drops everything and heads to the jungle to help the tribe. Upon his return he assumes the guise of Tarzan. Jane also travels to Africa to learn what has become of her fiancé. Tarzan soon learns that Ravens is planning an expedition to Opah, an ancient and sacred city. The tribe and Tarzan will do everything possible to stop Ravens from reaching his goal.
Just when you think you have seen the worst Hollywood could dish out, along comes a movie like Tarzan and the Lost City. This movie has absolutely no redeeming qualities. The only entertainment to be gained from this film is by making fun of how unbelievably crappy it is. The acting is so bad that everyone in this movie should be banned from further film work. The story is so moronic it's offensive. It was a struggle of epic proportions to not walk out and spare myself from the horrors present on the screen. Have I made it clear that this movie sucks? I hope so because nobody should have to sit through this worthless drivel.
