Darlene "Woo" Bates (Jada Pinkett Smith) learns that she is destine to fall in love that night while visiting her cross-dressing psychic. So later that night when she gets setup on a blind date she accepts, thinking it's fate. Woo's date for the night is Tim Jackson (Tommy Davidson), a guy with his share of past dating failures. His problems increase when he meets his date. Woo is the type of person who floats absent-mindedly through life, causing major problems for those around but remaining untouched herself. So even after she has a psychotic episode at his appartment Tim still takes her out for the date from hell. Everything that could go wrong does even though this is supposedly a preordained love connection.
Woo is an awful movie. It's not humorous, not romantic, and not good. This is just one more date from hell movie that brings nothing new and ends just like you'd think. Woo is stale, you can see what's coming next without even trying. Davidson and Pinkett Smith gave subpar preformances that did nothing to help a movie in dire need of it. There is no reason this movie should have been made and no reason for anyone to see it.
