1. "The Survivor" Tom Tennant (AGW, FCW):
- What can be
said about the Mark Payne/Tom Tennant feud that hasn't been said
already? It was nothing short of a war. These men always managed to
tear the house down each and every time they stepped in the ring with
one another. From the AGW to the FCW they put on Five Star matches that
made men like Speed Racer and James Crawford very happy. This war ended
recent at FCW's Cruel and Unusual with Tom Tennant winning the FCW
World Title in an Insane Death Match against Payne that lasted an hour.
He then promptly retired going out on top. Currently with Mark Payne
redebuting in the AGW, Payne and Tennant have renewed their feud, but
at the same time they have also forged an alliance.
2. Monarch (AGW,VWA,FCW):
- A rivalry that started in a doomed fed is now perhaps one of the greatest of all time. Monarch and Mark Payne have always been associated with each other in one way or another since their classic VWA Brawl that saw them give it their all for a half hour of brutal wrestling. In the AGW's next go around things got interesting. Payne and Monarch teamed up for a while, and after that doomed venture feuded for the top prize in the game. In their FCW days it was Payne who seemed to get the better of their battles. Regardless they are bitter foes, but the respect they have for one another is definitely there.
3. "The eND Bringer" Oblivion (FCW):
- A man who lives in insanity yet startles all with his intelligence, Oblivion and Mark Payne have a very checkered history. Their matches are among FCW's greatest and they hate each other with a passion that can not be matched. The Hell in the Cell encounter will never be forgotten by either men. Will they ever cross paths again? It is doubtful, but you can never know. If they do one has to wonder if either would ever walk again.
4. Jean (FCW):
- The Dark Prince of the FCW, Jean and Payne go back to the FCW's earlier days when Jean was first breaking into this business. While Payne has enjoyed alot of success over Jean, Jean also has had his fair share of triumphs over the Blonde Bastard. Jean and Payne, allies at one time, will never see eye to eye...perhaps it's because Payne tried to end Jean's career at one point, assaulted his woman, and shelfed him for some odd months. But that's just a theory. Regardless, while no longer competing together, if they ever clash again it will be an epic battle just as all their others have been.
5. Hazard (FCW):
- The
achillees heel of the Blonde Bastard, Hazard is one of those guys that
just doesn't go away. While overall they are evenly matched in wins and
losses, Hazard has the distinction of holding the more high profile of
those wins, most noteably at Cruel and Unusual II and III. While no
longer competing in a federation together, perhaps one day they will
cross paths again, where I am sure Mark Payne will be looking to dish
out a lot of payback and then some.
These are the guys who Payne has a problem with currently. Potential feuds for all!
