AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
	to find out whether students make the effort to conserve the environment.
	to find out more about students' awareness on deforestation as well as their awareness on how they contribute towards deforestation
	to find out how the participating students intend to contribute towards forest conservation after realising the effects of deforestation

ANALYSIS OF RESULTS
	Majority of participants did try to conserve forests in small ways.
	However, it was more for practicality reasons.
	Their efforts were inconsistent and based more on convenience.
	The students did see a need to protect forsts though.
	They showed a very good understanding of the current situation of forest clearing.
	Students were divided on who should bear responsiblity for forest clearing - people or governments
	However, most of them felt that it wqas the governments that could play a larger role in improving the situation.
	Encouragingly, after having the time to reflect on the issue, all of the participants were eager to change their current habbits.
