I don't know if I qualify as a fan just yet - I haven't actually managed to see any episodes. So I guess I'd be described as a potential fan *g*.
I found out about the show about 3 or 4 years ago, quite by accident, just wandering around on the net. It sounded really interesting, and I've kept an eye out for it ever since. Unfortunately I live in South Africa, and our programmers seem to be sufferi
g from a total lack of taste in TV shows!! I also managed to sign up for satellite TV to get the Sci-Fi channel, only to find out that the UK feed (which is what we see) isn't playing the series.....AARGGGHH!!!!
So, it's been years, and I'm beginning to despair of ever seeing the show. But hope springs eternal, right *g*? If you know of anyone who is able to tape/copy episodes, and willing to post them to SA (I'll pay, of course), let me know - desperation is def

well, here is a fk fan from Dominican Rep waving to you! hehe. I start watching Fk in the '92 it was doubled in Spanish displayed by the local channel. I didnt quite understand spanish back then but I enjoyed watching it. Later with Cable I continued on a
mexican channel (in spanish too). All this until '96, the Cable company added Sci F.. ( err.. the name) channel. I could finally enjoy the original voices of the actors! Sadly, fate has decide no more FK for me and took it away *sob* The only thing I hav

How could you not have friends, when you have such good taste in television shows?! :) I 've loved this show since it's original telemovie starring Rick Springfield as Nick Knight. When it was actually made into a show, CBS aired it in a line up they cal
ed "Crimetime after Primetime". Then it became syndicated and got shuffled around alot and was aired at the most godawful hours, like 1 & 2 in the morning. On Sundays no less. Then it was picked up by the cable station called USA. For now, the reruns ar

I'm aslo a fan of Forever Knight. I was sad that they moved it from regular channels to cable. When it was on regular channels, I would watch it every weekend. One espisode I do remember is that when Nick's partner died in the plane crash, his new partner
Tracy Vetter, that was when Vaschon started to show up. Another show that I am sad about going off the air is Dark Shadows. My favorite there was Barnabas Collins (who by the way was also a vampire). I didn't care for the new version of Dark Shadows.

I've just recently become a fan of this series. I am a devout Christian (Presbyterian, actually), but in my Christian life I have run into some theological questions concerning the writings of John Calvin which forms the basis of much of reformed th
ological thought, particularly in the matter of God's elect people. I'm sure the producers did not realize the full spiritual implications of what they were doing, but this show actually deals with many heavy theological questions. I usually haven't much
se for television, but the spiritual overtones of this series make it very intersting, and they manage to do it without a lot of sexual overtones, which is almost unheard of these days. Knight even still reacts to a crucifix! Amazing that a TV series toda
would acknowledge that Christ has power!
My favorite episode thus far was one I saw just a few nights ago where someone was murdering Catholic women all associated with the same church. We hear the killer in the confessional describing himself to the priest as God's avenger. It was interes
ing to see Knight's reaction about entering a church and forcing himself to touch a crucifix (he seemed encouraged that the mark the crucifix left on his hand was not as bad as his reations used to be). Perhaps you might supply me with the name of this ep
sode.
If you are interested in another comment, there is one glaring error on the part of the producers of a theological nature. In the spoken introduction to the show, the narrator speaks of Knight's desire to "atone" for his sins of the past. If we are
ealing with churches and crucifixes here, we ought to at least have our theology straight and realize that Knight cannot "atone" for his sins. According to Christianity, only Christ can do that. But what Knight can do is ask "forgiveness" for his sins, bu
any Christian will tell you that we believe that we cannot make up for a past sin but instead must rely on God's mercy because of Christ's sacrifice. But I'll settle for that error because the rest of the show is very thought-provoking religiously speaki
g (not because I like vampire or other horror shows and movies). I find myself very sympathetic to the character of Knight as someone being as the Prodigal Son from one of Christ's parables seeking his way back to his father. I hope I have not bored you w
