ET: Are you excited about your trip?

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen: Yes, we're so excited!

ET: Have you ever been cruising before? Mary Kate: Yes, we went on a Carnival cruise but now we're going on the "Sail with the Stars" and it's going to be so much fun!

ET: What are you looking forward to most?

Mary Kate: The slide!

Ashley: Yeah, the slide and the movie theater and Mickey [Mouse], of course!

Mary Kate: Hanging with Mickey!

ET: So what do you think of the cruise ship?

Ashley: It's so cool.

Mary Kate: It's big! It's so pretty.

Ashley: And it's huge!

ET: Have you been inside your suite, taken a look around that?

Ashley: It's really big and beautiful.

ET: What's the thing that most surprised you about the ship?

Ashley: We didn't know this before, but every single room is based on a different story or different theme.

Mary Kate: I didn't know that. There's a whole bunch of antiques that are really pretty.

ET: Do you like it? Do you like to cruise?

Ashley: Yes, it's a lot of fun.

ET: What do you like about it?

Ashley: It's different because you're not staying some place; you're going to lots of different places. You're just in the ocean in the middle of nowhere. It's really pretty.

ET: Do you worry about getting seasick?

Ashley: Well, we haven't gotten seasick yet.

Mary Kate: Only when it's really rough.

ET: So, what are you looking forward to most on the cruise?

Mary Kate: The movie theaters and the plays and stuff. They seem like they'd be really cool.

ET: Do you plan on doing any swimming?

Mary Kate: Yes.

Ashley: Yes, lots of swimming!

ET: What about sunscreen? Are you worried about getting burned?

Mary Kate and Ashley: Not really.

ET: Tell me a little about why we use sunscreen.

Ashley: Protects your skin from sun cancer. Protects your skin from getting burned.

ET: Now, we hear there's lots and lots of food on the menu. What are you looking forward to eating the most?

Mary Kate: I don't know. I haven't seen the menu yet.

ET: What about any favorite foods that might be on the menu that you have to have this weekend?

Ashley: Dessert. Creme Brulee.

Mary Kate: I don't know.

ET: Let's talk a little about your series. I understand that you guys were a little nervous before the show got picked up.

Mary Kate: We were in New York and when we got there, we had no messages. But we were hoping. So we kept on calling and we went out to dinner. We said, "Dad, call back to the hotel. See if there are any messages." So when we came back...

Ashley: We listened to the messages and it said, "You were picked up." We were so excited!

Mary Kate: We wrote in our diaries that night, "Our show got picked up!"

ET: So what are you looking forward to most about the show?

Ashley: The people and all different stories.

Mary Kate: I just think it's going to be a lot of fun. Doing a series is always so much fun.

ET: You guys are playing opposites this time. Who's playing who and tell me a little about that.

Ashley: I playing Ashley and I'm playing more of the "girly-girl" and I like to wear dresses and I'm boy crazy and Mary Kate's...

Mary Kate: more of a tomboy.

ET: Is it sort of like yourselves? Is this how you are in real life?

Mary Kate and Ashley: Sort of, but exaggerated.

ET: What about any suggestions you have for the show? Are you talking to the producers and writers and saying, "I want to do this or maybe I want to do that?"

Ashley: Basically they said that later on if something happened to us that maybe they'd write about it. We give them ideas about things that had happened.

ET: This is supposed to be your last vacation is that right?

Mary Kate: Basically. We go into shooting the day after we get back.

ET: What are you planning on doing on the trip?

Mary Kate: Relaxing, playing games, singing, dancing, eating, and swimming. A whole bunch of stuff.

ET: I heard also about a funny story about the last time you went on a cruise, around Christmas. What was that about?

Mary Kate: We were on the cruise and it was Christmas Eve and we're like, "Dad, what if Santa doesn't make it to our house. Y'know, is he gonna stop by the house or by the boat?" And he ended up stopping by both places.

Ashley: She got a horse at home, 'cause she asked for a horse for Christmas, and she got a pony on the cruise.

ET: What excites you most about the new series?

Mary Kate and Ashley: Working with the cast and crew.

Ashley: Being back on is so much fun.

Mary Kate: The Warner Bros. lot is really cool.

Mary Kate and Ashley: It's just really fun! We always have a great time doing them.
