Twin cuties Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have the cast and crew of their new sitcom Two of a Kind seeing double - but when it comes to perks, the pint-size divas demand one-of-a-kind treatment.
Mary-Kate and Ashley, 12, don't like to share anything - not clothes, a dressing room or even a hairdresser.
With their series lighting up Friday nights on ABC, the show's producers are glad to accomodate the girls' every whim.
For starters, the blonde blue-eyed twins have their own luxury trailers. And they're whisked around the set on their own chauffeur-driven gold carts.
Once a week two beautifcians arrive to give each girl a facial. Then there are two hair-stylists, two masseuses to loosen tight muscles and two manicurists to make sure their hands always look pretty, according to a show insider.
"Mary-Kate and Ashley have to have two of everything and it makes perfect sense to them. They may look similar, but they don't feel it. They're individuals with different likes and dislikes," says the source.
"Nowadays the girs go out of their way to look different. Mary-Kate wears her hair short and layered, while Ashley prefers long, straight hair with a flip on the ends.
Bob Saget, who played their dad on Full house, admits even he had trouble distinguishing one from the other.
"When I would get them mixed up, I would get the hands on the hips and the 'Don't you know me by now?'" Saget says. "When their personalities came out more, I started being able to tell them apart. Subtle things, like one was more yuppie and one more Melrose."
At home, Mary-Kate and Ashley have two of everything as well.
"They each have thier own horse to care for," the insider says. "And when they travel, they fly first class and each gets her own deluxe hotel suite.
Despite their tender years, Mary-Kate and Ashley are treated like full-fledged Hollywood stars - and they love every minute of it, adds the insider.
"They're so popular with the young audience that the network gives them whatever they want. Whatever their hearts desire, the Olsen twins get.
"These are two powerful little girls."
But the setsider is quick to add that the sisters are anything but spoiled brats.
"Aside from the chauffeur-driven golf carts and the manicurists, they are two of the most down-to-earth little girls. Just don't ask them to share a hairbrush!"
