About Safari Pictures

Safari Pictures consists of a tight team of 3: Maggie, Peiching and Chun Kit.
The group met in the School of Communication Studies (Nanyang Technological University) 3 years ago and have since worked together on countless projects. In October 2001, the 3 good friends decided to produce a short film together.

Maggie enjoys dabbling in video projects outside of her time at Scribe production house. She hopes to one day have her own travelogue series.

Pei Ching has a background theatre and is currently in Mediacorp.
Her experiences has given her an interesting perspective towards the complexities and intricacies involved in major productions.

Chun Kit's passion for film and filmmaking has kept him intrigued about
its arts and sciences for as long as he can remember. He sees this project as
an opportunity to fulfill a dream.

The trio is excited and bears high hopes for Safari Pictures. Although the short film is
their final year project, they view it as an independent film production where as students,
they are given access to technical resources and invaluable creative assistance.

Upon completion of this project, the team will definitely be looking at possible
submissions to various local and international film festivals and competitions.
