This is my jumpstarter model, signifigantly more advanced.
As you can see, he's colored like an Argentinian jumpstarter. That's what first drew me to this model, their ability to be recolored as a wide range of background characters for animations...
On the left you see my Jumpstarted recolored as Top Spin. It's a well set-up shader system, and 5 different shaders are all linked so all I have to do is change the color on the master shadrer to retint them all.
Bottom left has the underside of his boat mode, (yes, Top Spin is a boat, not a plane like everyone, Dreamwave inclusive, seems to think...) I added hydroplanes here because... they made sense there. The hole in his ass (man, that sounds bad...) houses a retracted wheel, for running on land (Top Spin's function is Land & Sea Asault,) there are two more hidden on the undersides of his feet which likewise pop out.
I'm making this mesh publicly available if anyone wants it. Jumpstarters are good background characters... but it's a Maya mesh. Anyone feel like doing a MAX setup if I give them a raw DXF and the image maps? If so, e-mail me. All that's left for me to do is rig this guy for Maya, and Max'll need a different setup anyway, so fron that standpoint... he's done.
