Fellow XFR lister Michelle submitted the following dream for my page:
"Ya now how in the movie (XF movie of course), they're in Antarctica? Well, Scully was lying down on the snow and Mulder was walking around. As I looked at Scully, the snow beneath her faded away - scary visual.
Then all the banters were all jumping into the ravine, totally ignoring all of us standing on the edge, just all jumping to their death. Then someone in the group had 2 baseballs, and threw it to the other side of the ravine. They gave the other one to some guy and if he didn't throw it to the other side, we'd throw him into the ravine. Well, he didn't make it and he went into the ravine.
That's all I remember. Really weird dream for me. Not totally XF - related, but Mulder and Scully were in it.... <g>
Emile's response: Michelle, who ever said your X-Files dreams had to be related to the X-Files? Not on this page. ;->
I had one of those *really* realistic dreams after which you wake up and say "I know Gill-...aw man..." <g> Here it is:
My Mom-Mom and my Aunt Marie were helping on the set of the X-Files for some reason, doing hair, I think. I kept trying to get on the set but I could never get on. Finally one of them took me and I got to hang out backstage on bleachers. People from my church were once again present - the pastor's wife, two of her kids, and a few other of my friends. Also, someone that I chat with was there. :)
Anyway, one of the days I was there I got to talk to Gillian Anderson! We all kinda crowded around her - I distinctly remember myself, the pastor's wife, and her oldest daughter being there. I cracked a few jokes, which Gillian laughed at. Then I said, "You don't know how hard it is to not ask for a picture or an autograph right now," and she looked right at me and said, "Thank you." Then she had to go.
Before she left I looked over at the girl I chat with and said something about racing home to tell everyone in the chat room first and Gillian smiled. Then Gillian shook my hand as I was walking away, and I tried to give a firm handshake (because the article's I read tell me she likes that <g>). She kept ahold of my hand unil I'd walked far enough away that her hand slipped out of mine. I remember that her hand felt cool and strong.
The school dorm was about my church, but it wasn't really "my" church (it wasn't Woodlyn).
Gillian Anderson was rooming with either [my neighbor] Amber or [my college roomate] Liz, and I was very hyper about her being there. [Our teacher] Mr. Andrus was there, too. I overheard him telling Gillian that she "looked like that actress on that tv show" and Gillian said, "That's because I am."
On Sunday morning I went downstairs to church, hoping that Gillian would show up. People from YAG (the college aged Sunday school class) were there, but Gillian never showed. I kept looking for her in the hallways but I never saw her.
They were filming The X-Files and mom, dad, and I were there. It was at a pool and Mulder was standing by me, Scully was across the pool. She was wearing a suit pants, a white shirt and a jacket that matched the pants (dark blue or black). But Scully's shirt and jacket were unbuttoned and she didn't have a bra on Mulder, for some reason, kept staring at her.
All the extras were lined up on platforms along the sides of the pool. The first row on both sides dove into the pool. For some reason, the image of frogs stuck in my head.
So myself and my family kept edging back so we didn't have to dive in to the pool. I'm pretty sure Gillian/Scully ended up in the pool, though.
They were done filming, so I went upstairs. An old lady was in there, and obviously did not want me to be there, but I stayed. The room had lots of round tables (brown) and the chairs (also brown) were up on the tables, upside down. It reminded me of the dining room at Skyland Mountain in "Ascension."
So I was in there and then Gillian came in. I think her hair was wet and she had on a dry white sleeveless shirt. She came over to me and we talked for quite a while, although I don't remember what we talked about. Probably about filming and The X- Files.
I was presenting at the Oscars, Best Supporting Actress. The nominees were: Gwyneth Paltrow, two other girls, and a girl named Michael Bolton. Michael won and she had been in one of the dance numbers, so she didn't have time to get changed. She came out in jeans and a shirt, holding her dress, which she handed to me.
I took the dress off-stage into the make-up room, where Barbara Walters was doing make-up. I tried to give the dress to her, but she snapped something like "Can't you see I'm busy?" at me. So I put it over a chair and left.
I couldn't figure out how to get back to the audience. [My friends] Mike Thurstlic and Dave Droxler were back there. Dave looked a *lot* like Ryan Philippe he had short, blond, curly hair, and a goatee. I talked to Dave - he had a diamond ring on his left hand, so I asked him about it and he said something about [my friend] Deanna's ex-boyfriend. Then Mike returned and he showed me how to leave.
When I walked through the door, it was into an Amish house. It was dark and five girls were playing. They were dressed in dark clothes. One screamed, but when I explained who I was she showed me how to leave. She was Kristen Azzarano.
Then I presented again with David Duchovny, Tea Leoni, and their baby. I held the baby, a boy, dressed in a light blue outfit. The baby was adorable, but really heavy, so I handed him back to Duchovny. I didn't get the baby's name.
Then later, I presented again with Tim Allen and Martin Short and one other woman a musical number.
After the Oscars, I was walking down the hallway and came across Erin and Jason. Jason was sitting on a bureau or something and Erin said, "He can't walk." I grabbed his arms and helped him down, and held him up, and helped him to walk. His legs kept buckling.
Then we were on Morton Ave, across from the high school, and the moon was smooshed and elongated.
I had to chase a killer around in a car and I wasn't driving, my dad was. So we're driving around looking for a killer and I hear a phone call with distortion on the voice and I see the killer and I'm yelling at my dad to stop the car but he won't. I think the killed had either [my friend] Jared Stevenson or Keith from Lit class/Mack the Coffee Man. It might've been a combo of both.
They drive off in a Jeep and I jump out of our van and run. I run up streets and inside houses and in one house [my friend] Amy Fenstermaker was there and she screamed at me:
"Why are you running through the liquor/Tequila district of Travellers? You have to hurry! You have to beat him there! You have to think she (the killer's mother) is a monster, g*d motherf*****g d***it!"
