In the first one, I was dressing up for Halloween as Scully. I had the suit and the badge and all. I was in my room putting the final touches on my costume when someone broke my door down. I turned around really fast and Scully was standing there with a gun [Emile's comment: she has a habit of doing that in dreams] and she said that I was under arrest for impersonating a special agent.
In the second one I was in a bookstore and I went and got coffee (which they were apparently selling in the store) and I sat down on this couch. Well, I looked over and Gillian Anderson was sitting right there. I was like "Oh... my... god!!" I didn't want to say anything because I was kind of embarrassed. I just sat there. Then she looked over at me and said hi, who are you. I wasn't thinking straight and I said " Agent Arica." She was like "Agent Arica, hi, I'm Agent Scully" and then she and I started laughing. She was really funny and pretty soon a whole crowd was gathered around us. I don't remember much of what she said but I do remember that when she was about to leave she said to meet her "here at 6 in 2 days." This guy asked if he could come with her and she said "Only if you want a drink."
It doesn't make sense to me either.
I was just reading your Dreams page, when I decided to send you one of mine that I had a few months ago. I think you might find it interesting and share some of the same frustrations I had in the dream...
The date (in the dream, I mean... I dreamed this in early January) was 14June 2001. (Remember that it's 2001, because it's important later on...). My best friends and I (we're all freaks who obsess about the show) had won a trip to attend the premiere of the second X-Files movie, and were simply ecstatic. However, by the time we arrived at the airport, it had seemed that our plane to LA had left without us. There wasn't another plane leaving for another twelve hours, which would mean we would have to miss the premiere.
Anyway, we started searching for an alternate mode of transportation. We came across a train, which would get us there in four hours, just in time for the premiere. The train was taking sheep to LA, I don't remember why. My friends and I had to sit in a bunch of hay with a whole buttload of sheep for FOUR HOURS. Since we didn't seem to have any money, the conductor of the train told us we had to be pay by taking one of the sheep with us and gave us a leash for it.
The premiere would be starting any minute, so we didn't have time to drop the sheep off at the hotel. We took the sheep with us to the premiere, and convinced the security guards to let us in since we had him on a leash and promised he'd behave.
We walked into the theatre, and the movie wouldn't start for another half an hour. We wanted to schmooze with some of the stars, particularly Gillian & Nick. We found our seats and sat down (we were in, like, the absolute back row of the floor, waaaaaaay over on the left-hand side, so we could barely see the screen anyway.)
It was really dark in the theatre, so we couldn't really see much of anything, each other included. (And our companion, the sheep.) Suddenly, a woman walked over and said "Well, I guess this is where I am," and sat down.
She was to my right, my friend and the sheep to my left.
"Oh, my God," I whispered to my friend, "it's Mimi Rogers!"
And so it was.
"Should we talk to her?" asked one of my friends.
"No, she's probably a bitch, just like Fowley."
We figured she'd probably get mad at us if we brought up the show (which she was no longer on since CC had had the good sense to kill her off in "Amor Fati") or her ill-fated marriage to Tom Cruise. So we sat there in silence, wondering why she didn't get a better seat and thinking that she should have.
After a few awkward minutes, I saw a woman who looked a lot like Gillian standing on the other side of the aisle. "Gillian!" I yelled, but couldn't get her attention. After she turned around, I saw that it wasn't Gillian at all, but just another short, red-headed woman.
"Where IS Gillian, anyway?" I asked Mimi. "I mean, isn't she the star?"
"She's right over there," Mimi replied. "You just missed her."
"How about Nick Lea? Is he here?" one of my friends asked.
"I don't think so," Mimi said, "I think he's still in New Zealand."
And it was 2001....
Kind of a long, weird dream, but it's the only one I've had in the past few months that I can remember in detail.
The other night, I was all excited to be watching the X-Files the next day and it resulted in one of the strangest dreams ever.
The dream took place in a great big mansion and Scully had multiple personality disorder, but these other personalities could actually disengage from her and become their own body.
One of the personalities wondered why the hell she hadn't made a play for Mulder in all of these years and left to go ask him out to breakfast.
One went to go find "the truth" from CSM.
And one fell madly in love with [atxf poster] Sean and my dream ended with them playing Nintendo 64 together.
Last night after rewatching "Requiem" I had a dream that I was with some friends at a beach house having a party and Nick was there (possibly Skinner too). There was music and at one point, I looked over and saw Nick playing guitar and singing "How Do I Live Without You" by Leann Rhimes. LMAO. A friend and I mentioned how "cute" that was and what a good voice he had and later we were introduced. Nick shook my hand and said "You look familiar. Have we met?" And I stood there laughing, "I get that all the time." LOL He seemed really big in the dream too. The weird thing is that today in my physical therapy session, the radio was playing that song by Leann Rhimes. I swear!
Anyway, just felt like sharing. It's so rare I have dreams about Nick/Krycek... :o)
