Jason is standing at the bridge looking outward. The song "Everybody Hurts" is playing in the background. Jason starts to walk away, when he hears someone coming. He hides. In comes Robin who goes to the side of the bridge wall. Jason notices it's her, and decides to leave to give her some privacy. As he is leaving, he steps on a branch, which makes a cracking noise. Robin realizes it's Jason.....
Robin: "Hi."
Jason: (walking towards Robin) "I'm sorry. I was just leaving."
Robin: "Ok. If you have to. But if you'd like to stay that would be ok too." (Jason is looking at her, and she turns away) "Have you ever looked at the water from up here? It's so dark you can't even see it." (Jason is walking towards her) "I like to pretend it goes on forever, mile after mile, with no end."
Jason: (looking down at the water) "I can't handle the concept of forever. I'm working on today."
Robin: "I know the feeling. Umm....I was at your bed the first time you woke up after the accident."
Jason: "I remember. You never came back."
Robin: "I'm sorry. I...I really don't have a good excuse."
Jason: "You don't need one. I was lousy company. What's your name?"
Robin: "Robin."
Jason: "Did we....know each other? You know, before."
Robin: "Oh.....you mean did we have a thing together?" (laughing) "No, no thanks to me. When I was 13, I was madly in love with you."
Jason: "I never did anything about it?"
Robin: "Other than break my heart, unintentionally of course. No, you never did a thing."
Jason: "Wow, I'm really glad you told me this."
Robin: "Why?"
Jason: "Because this is the first thing I've heard that Jason Quartermaine didn't do right." (Robin starts to blush)

Jason: "Did I say something dumb or out of line just now?"
Robin: "No, that was a nice compliment."
Jason: "Good, cause a lot of times I put my foot in my mouth without thinking and you have this look on your face that I can't exactly read."
Robin: "I was just pleased. It's a little embarrassing."
Jason: "Why embarrassed?"
Robin: "You're telling me that you made a big mistake by not taking advantage of the crush I had on you. Did you really mean it?"
Jason: "Sure. Why else would I say it?"
Robin: "People say things all the time that they don't really mean."
Jason: "People do a lot of things all the time I don't get." How long has it been since I've seen you at the hospital?"
Robin: "A couple of months."
Jason: "Could have been yesterday. It's wierd. I have no sense of time, but that's another thing that seems so important to everybody. I bet Jason was always on time."
Robin: "I'll bet he was too."
Jason: "I've been listening to the Quartermaine's. Compared to St. Jason I'm the devil or something."
Robin: "You don't really believe that."
Jason: "Well, then tell me about his faults and maybe I will change my mind. Now think hard, there has to be something that he did wrong. Flunk a test, or not do his homework."
Robin: "Ok, I thought of something. One time he grew his hair out and it looked really, really bad."
Jason: "That's it? I'm desperate to nail this guy, and all you can tell me is he had a bad hair day."
Robin: "Well, at least it's a start. Anyways, I like your hair now. It's much better. It's different."
Jason: "There's something you don't do that practically everybody else does.....act like you're missing him when you're talking to me."
Robin: "You're a different person. Believe me Jason would never have accosted a strange woman on a bridge in the middle of the night."
Jason: "Except you're not a stranger."
Robin: "You didn't know that."
Jason: "I do now."
Robin: (smiles and extends her hand) "It's nice to meet you."
Jason: (as they are shaking hands) "It's nice to meet you too."
