Asterix
This page is dedicated to the favorite comic book characters I 've grown up with, the same ones my nephews hide underneath their books and the same ones that hopefully my kids will read before falling asleep, too. Comic books have a power greater than books or movies - they are part of our imagination (like books) and at the same time they give unparallel pleasure to our eyes (as they are actually work of the finest art: drawing) And within those few works of art (like Asterix) that defeat time and become classics, there is also a strange, magical moment when your mind will take you there - side by side with their heroes and then you will close your eyes and fall asleep smiling. Well, I guess you know what I'm talking about - after all we 've been together in so many adventures with Asterix the Gaul. Yes, I mean YOU, the one that's smiling right now. I remember you. And may the sky not fall on your head ;-) |
