The Simpsons

The Simpsons is probably the best cartoon series ever produced.
Nothing is left untouched from the creator's satire - and it 's a satire sarcastic and ironic.
Our heroes are persistently living in their own reality - a madhouse - but this madhouse is a caricature of our own lives. Everybody can see through Springfield our everyday reality, our homes or towns - stripped off the shiny wrapping the media provide nowadays.
But the Simpsons and their fellow citizens DO understand and they even fight sometimes against all that threatens their lives. It's just that they usually are too weak to win, too few to make a difference, too dumb to understand or too bored to care.
