Spawn #9 signed by Todd McFarlane Spawn #9

Todd McFarlane is always a big attraction at comicbook conventions.  He came to the Heroes convention in 1995 and signed all day (believe it or not, that was with a strict one item limit per person!).  Some people think he has an "attitude" but he didn't seem that way to me.  He signed this on the cover.

Spiderman #121 signed by Gil Kane and John Romita Sr. Spiderman #121

This has always been one of my favorite comic books of all.  I was able to get both artists to sign it on the inside:  John Romita Sr. signed it at the Chicago Comicon in 1986 and Gil Kane signed it for me eight years later coincidentally also at the Chicago Comicon!

Spiderman #361 signed by Mark Bagley Spiderman #361

Signed by Mark Bagley at the 1993 Heroes convention.  mark shows up very regularly at Charlotte, so I have several Spiderman comic books signed by him.

Wetworks #1 signed by Whilce Portacio Wetworks #1

Whilce Portacio made a rare appearance in 1994 at Chicago's Comicon to launch Wetworks.  He signed this book on the cover.

WildCats #1 signed by Jim Lee and Brando Choi WildCATS #1

Signed on the cover by Jim Lee and on the inside by Brandon Choi.  In 1994, I met Jim Lee twice - first in Charlotte (with Brandon) and then a couple months later in Chicago.  Both guys are really nice and Jim is another guy who sits and signs for hours and hours (I thought he was going to pass out in Chicago!).

X-Men #94 signed by Claremont, Cockrum and McLeod X-Men #94

I met Dave Cockrum at a Creation convention in Detroit in 1981, I met Chris Claremont twice in 1994, once at a private signing in Raleigh and again in Chicago.  Bob McLeod came to Ypsilanti to the King Kon in 1984.  All autographs inside.

X-Men #121 signed by Claremont, Byrne, and Austin. X-Men #121

John Byrne showed up at Arlington, Texas' Lone Star Comics in 1981 for a private signing.  Terry Austin has showed up for a couple of  Creation conventions in Detroit, MI and I was able to have him sign this in 1987. Chris Claremont signed this for me in 1994 in Raleigh, NC.  All autographed inside.

X-Men Annual #3 signed by Claremont, Perez, and Austin X-Men Annual #3

George Perez attends practically all of the Heroes conventions in Charlotte, NC.  He signed this inside for me in 1993.  I was able to have Chris Claremont and Terry Austin's autographs at the same times I mentioned above.

X-Men Annual #9 signed by Claremont, Adams, and Gordon X-Men Annual #9

I had met Art Adams for the first time at Chicago in 1987.  Al Gordon was also there was well.  And again, Chris Claremont was nice enough to sign this in Raleigh in 1994 (his wife noticed the other autographs I had in all of these comic books and pointed that out).  All signed inside.
