"That Thing You Do" is a wonderful movie. It was written and directed by Tom Hanks, who also has a co-staring role. It is the story of a band that makes it big with their hit single, "That Thing You Do." The characters are Guy Patterson, the drummer, played by Tom Everett Scott, then there's Lenny Haise, playing the guitar and singing, played by Steve Zahn, Mr. White, the aggent, played by Tom Hanks, Jimmy or James Mattingly II, the lead singer, played by Johnathon Schaech, T.B. Player, a.k.a the bass player, played by Ethan Embry, and of course Faye, Jimmy's girlfriend, played by Liv Tyler.
