"I saw Disney's version of Aladdin so I guessed the ending. But then, it's the only way a story with a genie could end. Genie was interesting, as well as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumber (the ill fated wishing brothers). Of course Mulder wishing for world peace and ending up with an empty world was predictable, although him addressing Skinner's meeting was enjoyable. We all understood the implications of Scully telling Mulder that one man can't change the hearts of 6 billion people, symbolic of the whole show. Scully speaking to a dead body and happily turning him yellow was silly and out of character, I'm glad the body disappeared and made her look like a fool. Maybe Carter is depressed these days, he doesn't seem to give the show the old fire it used to possess. We all know what's going to happen next week. The first 55 minutes will consist of all our favorite major minor characters spending a lot of time telling Mulder that he's close to something (of which we have no idea as usual) and will conclude with five minutes of plot explanation and development which will undoubtedly leave Mulder dead and or Scully abducted, but hey, it's just been released that Carter and GA are coming back for next season, with DD being drawn in for either 6-9 episodes or 20. In a tone dripping with sarcasm I say to you: I can hardly wait especially after all these hunky dory episodes we've had this seventh season."

"I wish the X-Files would end it's run on TV, but there is no genie to reschedule Fox programming next season. This somewhat erotic wish fulfillment fantasy is better than the average rug, but the dust filled direction still needs a cleaning and maybe a good shaking. The story's well woven nature held the different element's together cohesively. The acting was excellent with Anderson especially adding a more playfull design to Scully. The ending was pure X-Files in leaving the conclusion up to the viewers dirty imagination. What is Mulder smiling about? It takes a genie to get Scully to sleep with him. After years of sexual tension that's sad, not funny. X-Files seems to be attempting humor more often lately and not to great effect."
