"Creepy. Nice. Charmed man with skull of daughter seeking vengeance episode. Character's with deformed unexpressive faces can create much havoc in the subconscious. Fear. Death. Decay. All dance in the mind...no mercy in blank eye's. Blind Scully makes for dramatic watching. Weird white orbs in the darkness = nice visual. Pretty basic installment for the series. The last season of the show started out like an ominous pile of dirt, but has gotten back inside the little dolly of decency fairly well, with few pin pricks. This better be the last season of the show though, because the episodes, more than ever, seem to be falling into this formulaic rut. I feel there were a few mid season salves given through a slim opening in a door here and there and there seem to be some promising things coming up. Hopefully it will all go out with no hexes, of course there will be movies... and...many things are cursed with immortality in Hollywood these days."

"Finally, a monster of the week that doesn't try and win ratings by some gimmick or some other new rendition of "let's play with the relationship some more." It was an interesting plot with interesting issues and interesting guest characters. I thought it was going to be a revival of sanginarium, replete with doctors who sold their souls to Satan. As far as X-Files go, it was a fresh idea. It was also reminisce of the glory days of the 6th season, with Mulder and Scully having personal issues and struggling with the morality and their own personal beliefs. This way we can see the strange strange world but with a personal touch that keeps our two focal points where they should be, right in the thick of things."
