**241** - Reel Big Fish

Transcribed for trumpet

-----------------------

Seeing as how I've never seen this done before in simple

text format, I had to figure out a decent way to write

down the songs. This is what I came up with.

1. The notes you should play are indicated by the appropriate

letters.

2. No note lengths - just number of times played. You *should*

be able to figure out when and how long notes are played. They

do this in guitar tabs, so it shouldn't be too big of a problem.

3. Sharps are indicated by a "+", flats by a "-".

4. Octaves - To indicate octaves, I use numbers. 1 refers to

the lowest octave of a note, 2 the next, 3 and so on. So, super

low f sharp (fingered 123) would be +f1.

5. A short set of notes surrounded by parentheses, followed by

a "*" and a number means to play that phrase that number of times.

Here goes.

That's it. If you find any errors, or you have any suggestions

on how to improve the format, or if you just want to tell me

how cool I am, mail me.
