Well guys this is my Kavana story, enjoy! :}

My pal Jonaline (who played photographer for the nite) and I went and saw Kav at Shinefest in SegaWorld. Now for the ppl who doesn’t know what it is, Shinfest is a sleepover/fund-rasier event for 11-17yr old girls. And us being 19 yr olds felt pretty sad going to such an event, but being Kav fans we just had to be there and we also didn’t know about any of his other live performances.

Kav was due to appear at 10:45pm, but as we found out if u r not sleeping over u had to get out of SegeWorld at 10:30pm. So we went around the place asing ppl if we could leave later, since we were both over 18. This caused us quiet abit of embarrasment since we were so old, the ppl there kinda looked at us funny. But we did see Kav and took some pics, unfortunately we didn’t get close enough to the front.

Now this is the story where I got to speak to him on the phone. Hee hee

I was listening to Ugly Phil (a radio program)when Kav was on. And these girls wrote in leaving them their numbers asking if they could give them a call so they can speak to Kav. Imagine my dissapoint when I thought 'Damn, I should have done this.'

Then I thought of a show - By Demand (music program on cable) - and I knew Kav was gonna go into the studio. So I emailed the show and told him about my Kav site and left my number for them. I thought they wont call me cos it was too late.

So that day I sat there and watched while ppl were calling the show and were speaking to Kav. Then the phone rang and I thought 'could it be?'.

The guy at the other end of the phone prolly thought I was some phsyco or something cos I kept saying 'oh my god' .. hehehehe … anyways they rang back, asked for the addy of my site and put me on hold.

While I was on hold I could hear everything they were saying in the studio. They had a look at the site and then I suddenly heard Kav go "Where’s Christina from?". I was just sitting thinking 'he said my name?!?'

I was still shocked when they finally put me on air. I must have sounded like a real idiot cos I didn’t know what to say.
So I explained to them about my site and Kav commented that it was very good and more up-to-date than his offical site. The hosts prolly thought I was obsessed.

I mentioned to Kav that I was sick at that time and wished him good luck. And he replied "U too. And drink lots of honey and lemon." I was speachless, all I could say was "thank you!".

It was not until after the call that I realised I should of asked him to sign the guestbook. Oh well, at least hes got something to remember me by. Hee hee!!
