New Bond girl Michelle Yeoh has revealed the secrets of her beauty - rest, exercise and dancing to hip-hop music.
The Malaysian-born Hong Kong actress, who takes on Pierce Brosnan's Bond as tough-girl Wai Lin in Tomorrow Never Dies, makes a point of working out every day, even if she has to improvise.
"I love dancing to the latest hip-hop music to get my energy up. When I'm in makeup, you can always see the trailer bouncing," she said.
"Every day I do an hour of cardiovascular work on a stairmaster or a treadmill, with lots of stretching.
"When I can't get to the gym I do sit-ups, kicking and punching. When I shadow-box, even a plant in my hotel room can be a good target."
But Yeoh, 35, also believes in her beauty sleep.
She added: "I think the most important thing you can do for your skin is to get enough rest.
"When you don't, no matter what kind of makeup you try to put on your face, it looks like you're wearing a mask."
Yeoh, who describes Wai Lin as a woman of the '90s on a physical and intellectual par with 007, also loves her "Bond babe" wardrobe - but refused to wear a bikini for the film.
"How do you top Ursula Andress?" she laughed, referring to the first Bond girl.
"Whatever a Bond girl wears it has to be chic. You've got to look at it and say, 'Whoa, yeah!'."
