Michelle Yeoh Offered Confucius Role

The buddy comedy Confucius Brown is quickly taking shape just weeks after Wesley Snipes and Jackie Chan pulled out of the movie. Martin Lawrence has already signed on, and now producers are offering former Miss Malaysia Michelle Yeoh $1 million to star opposite the comedian. Yeoh will play a flight attendant who teams up with a bail bondsman (Lawrence) to try to get their hands on an arms dealer's hidden stash of loot. Yeoh is best known in the States for going stunt-for-stunt with Jackie Chan in Supercop, and she'll be seen this Christmas as a high-kicking Bond girl in Tomorrow Never Dies. Brown will be directed by Reginald Hudlin (House Party) and is produced by Snipes' production company, Amen Ra.
