Five Take Away Four Leaves Andros... - part two

Last time on "Power Rangers In Space":
Astronema and Elgar teleport down to New York City to attempt to capture the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Rangers, after some heavy training sessions, are informed of this attack and head to the Big Apple to help stop Astronema. Will they be successful? Find out next!

Scene 1: New York City: Astronema is watching the Turtles fight the QuanTrons...
Astronema: You Turtles won't win this time!
Elgar: Yeah! Uh... what she said!
Leonardo: (while fighting) You'll... never win... Astronema!
Astronema: That's what you said last time!
The Rangers teleport down!
Andros: Astronema!
Astronema and Elgar look up.
Astronema: Rangers! Get them!
Elgar: We need more QuanTrons!
Astronema: QuanTrons!
10 more QuanTrons appear.
Astronema: Go after the Power Rangers!
The QuanTrons agree and go after the Rangers.
T.J.: Well, we know what to do now!
All: Right!
The Rangers and QuanTrons battle. Meanwhile, the Turtles destroy their QuanTrons.
Raphael: You're next, Astronema!
Astronema: Nice try... (aims her staff at the Turtles) but it didn't work!
She fires her staff, teleporting the Turtles back into the sewer.
Elgar: What'd you do that for?
Astronema: Quiet! QuanTrons, capture everyone except the Red Ranger!
The QuanTrons seem to get more powerful...
Ashley: They're getting too strong!
Carlos: I can't... keep fighting them!
Andros: Guys! You can't give up!
The QuanTrons grab Cassie, Carlos, Ashley, and T.J.
Astronema: Whee-hee! It's working! QuanTrons, teleport back to the Dark Fortress.
The QuanTrons, with the 4 Rangers, teleport to the Dark Fortress.
Andros: Astronema, bring them back!
Astronema: Oh, but of course... NOT! So long, Red Ranger! Ha ha ha!
Elgar: See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!
Andros: Oh, no you don't! Come here!
Andros starts to run towards them when they teleport back to the Dark Fortress.
Andros: Oh, man! Now what am I going to do? I need time to think.
Andros teleports to the Astro Megaship.
Scene 2: Astronema's Dark Fortress: Carlos, Cassie, Ashley, and T.J. are unmorphed (don't ask, it just seemed right) and tied to four different posts. Astronema is surveying them...
Astronema: Hmm... you four don't look like much without your Ranger suits.
T.J.: Well, if we weren't tied up, we could take you down easily! Couldn't we, guys?
Carlos, Cassie, & Ashley: (assorted conversations) Well, not really, no...
T.J.: You must have brainwashed them. We've taken down villains much more powerful than you!
Ashley: We have?
Carlos: When was this?
Cassie: Not to my knowledge, no...
Astronema: SILENCE! Now, what to do with --
The view screen beeps.
Astronema: Ooh! I'll be back. Elgar! Watch these four!
Elgar: Affirmatory!
Astronema walks off to answer the view screen.
Astronema: What do you want?
Divatox: Astronema! Dear, sweet, precious little Astronema! How are we this fine day?
Astronema: Get to the point!
Divatox: Well, I called you because you're the only one that might possibly be able to help me. You see, I've been placed in charge of looking after Zordon...
Astronema: I know that. You don't have to tell me every single time you call!
Divatox: (grrr...) Anyway, I sorta... well... lost him.
Astronema: (laughing)
Divatox: Umm... Astronema?
Astronema: (while laughing) And, what do you want me to do about it? Tell Dark Spector that you forgot your brain medicine and misplaced the leader of the Power Rangers? Ha!
Divatox: You rotten little child! I hope that for your sake, we never cross paths! Now, where would I have put Zordon...
The view screen goes dark.
Astronema: Ooh, is she in for it now! I'd better tell Dark Spector about this! (presses a few buttons) Astronema calling Dark Spector...
Dark Spector: Never a moment's pea-- oh, it's on! Yes, Astronema?
Astronema: Dark Spector, who did you put in charge of Zordon?
Dark Spector: Divatox. Why?
Astronema: Ooh, you might want to rethink that. You see, she misplaced him.
Dark Spector: SHE MISPLACED HIM?! Let me at her!
Astronema: Toodles, Dark Spector!
The view screen goes dark.
Astronema: (sigh) This is fun! Now, back to the Rangers...
Astronema heads back to the Rangers.
Scene 3: Astro Megaship: Andros is wandering around, thinking of what he could do...
Andros: Well, I could-- no, that won't work. Maybe I could-- nah, that won't work, either.
DECA: Andros, you seem puzzled. Is something the matter?
Andros: DECA, Astronema's kidnapped the others. What am I supposed to do?
DECA: I'm sorry, Andros, but I can not help you right now.
Andros: I understand, DECA. Thanks anyway.
Andros resumes wandering around, when he comes across a room marked "Storage Closet -- KEEP OUT!". Andros's expression turns to one of brilliance. He punches in an access code onto a terminal hidden in a wall. A door opens up, and Andros walks inside.

Astronema's Dark Fortress: Astronema's taunting the Rangers...
Astronema: (singing - and very horribly, might I add) The mountain is high, the valley is low, and you're confused on which way to go...
Carlos: No! Stop singing!
Ashley: My ears...
Cassie: WHAT?
T.J.: Huh? I can't hear you guys!
Astronema stops singing.
Astronema: Have you had enough?
All: Yes!
Cassie: WHAT?
Ashley: Cassie... never mind.
Cassie: HUH?
Astronema: Tell me everything about the Rangers.
Carlos: We'll never tell you anything!
Astronema: Then I'll just have to sing some more!
All: Nooooooo!
Astronema: Oh, yes! First up: "I Got You, Babe" with Ecliptor!
All: No!

Suspense haters! Back to the Megaship...
Andros walks into a room in which everything is tinted blue. We hear steady beeping. Andros walks over to what looks like a box.
Andros: I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but... here goes nothing.
Andros presses a button, and the box splits in half. A figure dressed in an outfit similar to those the Rangers wear emerges.
Figure: Andros?
Andros: You're still alive!
Figure: Of course. You froze me, not killed me.
Andros: It's good to have you back, Zhane. Now, does everything still work?
Zhane: Only one way to figure it out: test! Power down!
Zhane demorphs. He's wearing an outfit similar to the Astro Megaship uniforms, only his is black.
Zhane: That worked. Now, to remorph. DigiMorpher!
A new (different than the others') morpher appears on Zhane's wrist.
Zhane: Let's go Mega!
Zhane pops the morpher open and presses "M-E-G-A". He morphs into the Silver Ranger.
Andros: Cool... everything still works all right.
Zhane: You don't seem too happy. I knew there was a reason that you thawed me out!
Andros: It's just... Astronema's kidnapped the others, and I need help in saving them!
Zhane: What are we standing around here for? Let's go!
Andros: What about your Mega Winger? Does it still work?
Zhane: We'll find out when we get there...
(loud beeping & static)
Zhane: What's going on?
Andros: I have no idea.
DECA: Incoming message--
Astronema: Red Ranger, I have your four friends in my clutches. If you want them, meet me with your Astro Megaship on KO-35 in 25 minutes.
(static)
Zhane: That didn't sound good.
Andros: What are we going to do?
Zhane: I have a plan. First, we'll...
Scene 4: KO-35 Planetary Surface: Astronema and Ecliptor have the four Rangers tied up...
Astronema: Where is he? Doesn't he know that I have a galaxy to take over?
Ecliptor: I think you'll have to wait.
Astronema: But I don't want to wait! I want the Megaship now!
Wouldn't you know it? Here comes the Astro Megaship, which lands nearby. Andros, morphed, teleports to Astronema's location.
Andros: Well, here I am. Now, release the others.
Astronema: (snicker) First, hand over your Morpher. I want to be sure that I'll be victorious!
Andros: If you insist.
Andros hands Astronema his Morpher.
Astronema: Whoo-hoo! I've got all the Rangers' morphers! I can create my own Evil Rangers and take over the wor-- wait a minute, shouldn't you be unmorphed?
Andros (into his communicator): Do it now!
Everyone has puzzled looks on their faces. We see the Astro Megaship lift off and fire on Astronema. The blasts cause the ropes around the Rangers to be cut.
Carlos: Where are our morphers?
Ashley: Astronema has them!
T.J.: Let's get her!
Astronema looks over.
Astronema: Huh?
She sees the 4 Rangers running for her.
Astronema: Ecliptor! Get them!
Ecliptor: I'm... sort of... busy here... with the... Red Ranger!
Andros: Why don't you just give up already, Astronema?
Astronema: Listen, buster! I don't need you telling me what to do!
Zhane (from Megaship over a loudspeaker): What about me, Astronema?
Astronema: Who is that?
Carlos: Don't ask me.
Cassie: I have no idea.
Ashley: He sounds dreamy...
T.J.: He must be a friend of Andros's!
Astronema: Another Power Ranger?!
Zhane: You'll see...
We see a silver beam emerge from the Astro Megaship. A person who looks like a Ranger emerges from the beam. Ecliptor teleports off in fright.
Zhane: Your days are numbered!
The 4 other Rangers run to Andros.
Ashley: Friend of yours?
Andros: How'd you guess?
Ashley: Woman's intuition.
Cassie: Who is he?
Andros: He's my friend, Zhane. He was chriogenically frozen on the Megaship. Since I needed help rescuing you all, I decided to bring him back into action.
T.J. & Carlos: Awesome!
Cassie: Cool!
Ashley: I... I... ai-yi-yi...

Zhane: Come on, Astronema! What's the matter? Ya chicken?
Astronema: Ooh! Nobody calls me a chicken and lives to tell about it! Where'd Ecliptor go?
Zhane: Ha ha! Scaredy villainess can't fight for herself! Bawk bawk bawk!
Astronema: You're getting on my nerves, you Silver pinhead!
Astronema makes her wand appear. She aims it at Zhane.
Astronema: Who's a chicken now?
Zhane: (sarcastically) Ooh... I'm so scared...
Astronema: Take this!
But, before she can do anything, Zhane pulls out his Astro Blaster and fires, knocking Astronema's wand out of her hand!
Zhane: Ha ha!
Astronema: You stupid Ranger! Watch this...
Astronema grabs her wand and plants it firmly into the ground. (Old plot coming up) The ground releases steam, causing Astronema to grow to a 50-foot-tall weird-looking monster!
Astronema: Try and stop me now, Rangers!
Andros and the others run to Zhane.
Zhane: You four had better morph. After that, I have a surprise for the five of you.
All: Right! Let's Rocket!
(Morpher: 3-3-5)
The morphed Rangers appear. Zhane pulls out five KeyCards.
Zhane: Raise these into the air and yell "Mega Voyager, online!"
Andros: And then, what happens?
Zhane: You'll see. Just do it! Mega Winger, warrior mode!
We see an airplane-style Zord appear. Zhane teleports into his cockpit.
Zhane: Warrior Mode, transform now!
The airplane-style Zord transforms into Mega Winger, Warrior Mode and lands opposite Astronema. The others look on in awe.
Andros: Well, let's do it!
All: (hold up their cards) Mega Voyager, online!
The Voyager Zords appear, and the Rangers teleport into their respective cockpits.
Cassie: What's this do? "Transform."
Andros: No time like the present to test it out, I always say.
Ashley: Since when?
Andros: Since this afternoon. Let's do it!
Andros pulls a lever, and the five Voyager Zords combine to form the Mega Voyager. The Rangers appear in a main cockpit.
All: (various sounds of approval)
Zhane: Told ya you'd like it!
Andros: These Zords are amazing!
Zhane: Let's take Astronema down! Don't forget about the Mega-V3 Missile!
T.J.: The Mega-V3 what?
Ashley: Missile!
Andros: We'll use it as the last resort in destroying her.
All: Right!
Scene 5: Astronema's Dark Fortress: Ecliptor & Elgar are watching the battle...
Elgar: Who's that?
Ecliptor: I think it's Astronema... but I never knew that she could grow.
Elgar: Let's hope she's smart enough to leave when she's losing. Otherwise, we'll be without a leader.
The view screen flashes white and then an image of Divatox appears.
Divatox: Astronema?
Ecliptor: Astronema isn't here right now.
Elgar: Hi, Auntie Dee!
Divatox: Elgar?! Why, I-- never mind. Oops. Gotta go!
Dark Spector: DIVATOX?! How can you--
The view screen fades to black, then the battle reappears.
Ecliptor: What was that about?
Elgar: I don't know. I don't work for her anymore.

Angel Grove: The Mega Voyager and Mega Winger are ready to battle a now-grown Astronema...
Astronema: That wasn't very impressive. Now, this... (fires eye lasers at the Zords)... this is impressive!

Zhane: Guys, I'll distract her with my cannons. You use the Mega-V3 Missile and finish her off!
Andros: Right!
= = =
The Mega Winger pulls out a big cannon.
Astronema: What is that?!
Zhane: Astronema, meet the Mega Cannon!
Astronema: Wuh oh...
The cannon is fired on Astronema!

Andros: Mega-V3 Missile!
= = =
The Mega Voyager holds up the Mega-V3 and aims it at Astronema.
Astronema: Time to go!
Astronema teleports.

Astronema's Dark Fortress: Astronema storms in...
Elgar: Bravo, Astronema!
Astronema: Shut up! I'm going to my room, and I'm not coming out until the year 2500!
Elgar: But you'll be 519 years old! Are you sure you'll be able to come out on your own?
Astronema slams her door.
Ecliptor: She seems upset.
Elgar: I've seen Auntie like this. And, she hasn't snapped out of it yet for some reason...
Scene 6: Astro Megaship: Andros, Carlos, Cassie, Ashley, and T.J. are showing Zhane around...
Andros: And these are the Jump Tubes.
Ashley: There are only 5 Tubes. Looks like you don't get one.
Zhane: Andros?
Andros walks over to a wall and secretly opens a panel. He enters an access code and then stands back as the wall magically disappears revealing a Silver Jump Tube. The others look on in amazement.
Ashley: How did you...?
Andros: You have a lot to learn about the Astro Megaship.
Ashley: Right... sure I do...
Zhane: Do you all always get along so nicely?
Andros: We have our moments.
Everyone snickers, except Ashley, who nudges him.
Andros: Ow! What was that for?
Ashley: You know we always get along!
Andros: Oh, yeah. We do always get along, don't we?
Ashley: Come on, Zhane. I'll give you a tour of the ship.
Zhane: Okay...
Ashley and Zhane walk off together. The others stand by and watch.
Cassie: Do you think we should let them go off by themselves?
Andros: Better not. Who knows what damage they could do?
Carlos: You're right.
T.J.: (yelling) Hey, wait for us!
