ROCKY. Boy, that was a hard test we had, guys.
KIMBERLY. Yeah. I don't think I did real well.
TOMMY. Relax, I'm sure you did fine!
KIMBERLY. Do you think so?
TOMMY. Yeah. Of course I do!
AISHA. Tommy's right, Kim.
ADAM. You know what? I think I failed it.
ROCKY. What do you mean, you think you failed it?
ADAM. I hardly studied last night.
KIMBERLY. Why?
ADAM. I had to train Shawn, my young protégé.
BILLY. But you still should have had time to study when it got dark.
KIMBERLY. Wait, Billy. They could have been at the Youth Center practicing.
TOMMY. Well... they might have been. But, you don't know that!
(Bulk and Skull enter)
BULK. What's the matter, geekoids?
SKULL. Yeah, what's the matter, geekoids?
AISHA. Get a life, guys. Adam's having a bad day.
BULK. (sarcastically) Awww... that's too bad. Ha ha ha ha!
SKULL. That's a good one, Bulk. Ha ha ha ha!
BILLY. Say, isn't that Mr. Caplan over there? I think he's looking for you guys. Are you supposed to be in Detention now?
BULK. Ummm... bye!
SKULL. Yeah... bye!
(Bulk and Skull leave)
ADAM. You know, I feel a lot better now.
ROCKY. Why?
ADAM. I think that we all know why!
TOMMY. I really can't figure out why you're so happy after Bulk and... wait a minute!
KIMBERLY. Of course!
BILLY. That's it!
AISHA. What?
ADAM. Bulk and Skull can make anybody go from a bad mood to a good mood!
AISHA. Oh!
(New scene - Open on Lord Zedd's palace)
LORD ZEDD. Goldar!
GOLDAR. Yes, my lord...
LORD ZEDD. Those pathetic Power Pests are having a good time again!
BABOO. So what else is new?
SQUATT. Yeah, those Power Rangers are always having fun!
(Rita walks in)
RITA. What's this I hear about those pitiful Rangers?
LORD ZEDD. Uhh... nothing, my sweet!
SQUATT. Lord Zedd was just about to send down a monster!
RITA. But, Zeddykins, you said I could send down the next monster.
LORD ZEDD. Well, I changed my mind. Your monsters won't last twenty seconds down there! Not with the Rangers' new Zords and the White Ranger and...
RITA. Alright already! You can send down the next monster!
LORD ZEDD. I knew you would see it my way.
GOLDAR. What about the monster?
LORD ZEDD. Go find Finster and have him make one!
RITA. But, I thought you said you were going to send down the next monster!
LORD ZEDD. I am sending down the next monster! I just need ideas from Finster!
RITA. Why do you need his worthless ideas?
LORD ZEDD. I need his ideas because the Power Rangers have discovered the weaknesses of all my monsters!
(New scene - Next day - Open in Angel Grove park with Rangers walking down path)
ROCKY. Well, we all passed the test!
ADAM. I got a B on it! I'm so excited!
KIMBERLY. And you thought you were going to fail it!
TOMMY. I knew you were smart!
(Tommy's communicator beeps)
ALL. Oh boy...
TOMMY. Shh! I read you, Zordon.
ZORDON. Power Rangers, teleport to the Command Center immediately.
BILLY and AISHA. Why, Zordon?
ZORDON. I can not tell you why, it's a surprise.
KIMBERLY. Oh, no. Not again!
TOMMY. We're on our way.
(Teleport)
(New scene - Open on Command Center)
ROCKY. Why did you call us, Zordon?
ZORDON. Please observe the Viewing Globe. (Rangers look at Viewing Globe) Remember when Jason, Zack, and Trini left to go to Switzerland? Well, that's part of my surprise.
ALPHA. We have created three new Power Coins in a hidden laboratory.
ZORDON. And gave those to three new Rangers.
ADAM. You mean...
AISHA. That there are three new Rangers?
ZORDON. Precisely. I will contact you as soon as the transformation is complete.
(New scene - Open on Lord Zedd's palace)
LORD ZEDD. Finster! Do you have any new monsters for me?
FINSTER. Yes, my lord. I happen to have a new one right here. It's a cross between a hedgehog and a raccoon.
(Rita walks in)
RITA. What are you going to call your new monster, Finster?
FINSTER. I'll call it... the Hedgeraccoon.
LORD ZEDD. Well, I don't particularly like the name, but I suppose it'll work.
RITA. You're right. Anything to stop the Rangers.
LORD ZEDD. I'm sending it down now, my dear.
(Zedd sends down Hedgeraccoon)
(New scene- Open on Downtown Angel Grove)
HEDGERACCOON. Where are you, Power Rangers?
(New scene - Open on Command Center with alarm going off)
ALPHA. Zordon! What's happening?
ZORDON. Lord Zedd has sent down his powerful Hedgeraccoon monster to destroy the Power Rangers.
ALPHA. Should I contact the Rangers now, Zordon?
ZORDON. No, Alpha. The three new Rangers are ready for battle. We shall send them to fight the Hedgeraccoon.
ALPHA. Who exactly were the three new Rangers again? Ai-yi-yi-yi-yi!!
ZORDON. How quickly we forget! The three new Rangers are... Jason, Zack, and Trini.
ALPHA. Ai-yi-yi-yi-yi! That's right!
(Jason, Zack, and Trini teleport to Downtown Angel Grove and morph)
ZACK. Dragonzord!
TRINI. Titanus!
JASON. Shuttlezord!
(Show Zack in Green suit, Trini in Gold suit, and Jason in Silver suit)
ZACK. Boy, this brings back memories!
TRINI. Yes, it does!
HEDGERACCOON. Are we quite through?
JASON. (sarcastically) Not yet!...
HEDGERACCOON. Well, will you hurry up so I can finish you!
JASON. Let's finish him, guys!
TRINI and ZACK. Yeah!
HEDGERACCOON. Oh, dear!
TRINI. Wait a minute! (Contacts Zordon) Zordon, what exactly are we supposed to use for weapons?
ZORDON'S VOICE. Call forth the Power Cannon to destroy this monster.
TRINI. O.K. Zordon!
JASON. Rangers, prepare to receive Power Cannon!
(Zordon interrupts)
ZORDON. I'll tell the others to meet you to help you hold the Power Cannon. Alpha, contact the other Rangers now.
(in Billy's laboratory)
BILLY. I wonder who the other Rangers are.
KIMBERLY. Yeah, me too. I can't stop wondering why Zordon kept mentioning Jason, Zack, and Trini.
(communicator beeps)
TOMMY. I think we're all about to find out. (answering communicator) Yes, Zordon...
ZORDON. Rangers, the Hedgeraccoon monster is attacking Downtown Angel Grove.
TOMMY. We're on our way, Zordon. Guys... it's morphin' time!
(lightning bolt special effect)
TOMMY. Tigerzord!
ADAM. Mastodon!
KIMBERLY. Pterodactyl!
BILLY. Triceratops!
AISHA. Saber-Tooth Tiger!
ROCKY. Tyrannosaurus!
(open on Downtown Angel Grove, where the 6 Rangers meet the three new Rangers)
TOMMY. (to Jason) Who are you?
JASON. Never mind. It's not important at the moment.
BILLY. Silver Ranger's right, Tommy. The monster is destroying the town!
TRINI. Let's prepare to receive the Power Cannon!
HEDGERACCOON. Oh, dear...
ROCKY. Rangers! Prepare to receive Power Cannon!
ALL. Ready!
(Power Cannon appears in Rangers' hands)
TOMMY. Insert charges!
KIMBERLY. Pink charge!
AISHA. Yellow charge!
ROCKY. Red charge!
TOMMY. White charge!
ALL. Fire!
(beam from Power Cannon hits monster and he explodes)
(everyone's cheering)
(New scene - Open on Lord Zedd's palace)
LORD ZEDD. Impossible! You said this monster would be invincible, Goldar!
GOLDAR. Don't blame me! Blame Finster! He made the monster!
LORD ZEDD. Rita! Come here, sweetie!
RITA. You called, Zeddykins?
LORD ZEDD. Yes, Rita. I did. Would you get Finster for me?
RITA. Sure.
(Rita goes to Finster's workshop)
RITA. Finster, Lord Zedd wants to see you now!
FINSTER. Oh, no...
(Rita and Finster walk to the Throne Room)
FINSTER. You called, my lord?
LORD ZEDD. Yes.
FINSTER. What do you want?
LORD ZEDD. I want you to use better clay to make your monsters!
FINSTER. Why?
LORD ZEDD. Those Power Rangers destroyed your monster in one blow!
FINSTER. Now you know why Rita's plans never succeeded.
LORD ZEDD. Rita, none of your plans succeeded?!?
RITA. Well... ummm... not exactly.
LORD ZEDD. How many of them have succeeded?
RITA. Well... uhh... ummm... none.
(Open on Command Center)
TOMMY. I have a question, Zordon.
ZORDON. Yes, Tommy.
TOMMY. Who were the three mystery Rangers who helped us out back there?
ZORDON. You wouldn't believe me if I told you.
ROCKY. Try me.
ZORDON. Okay... come on out, guys! (they approach the other Rangers) The time has come to reveal your identities.
KIMBERLY. Oh boy! We're going to find out who they are!
(Jason, Zack, and Trini unmask)
BILLY. Oh, wow! It's... it's... it's you guys!
JASON. Yes... it's us!
ZACK. Would you expect Zordon to recruit anyone else?
TRINI. We have had a year of Power Ranger experience, you know.
AISHA. Sorry, I forgot.
ZACK. It's O.K. We know you guys are new at this!
ROCKY. After all that we've been through together...
KIMBERLY. It's good to know that Zedd has more to deal with now!
(All laugh at Kimberly's joke)
(New scene - Open on Angel Grove Youth Center where the gang is at the juice bar watching the news on TV)
VOICE ON TV. And after a long battle, the Power Rangers finally defeated the Hedgeraccoon monster and saved our city. And, in other news, ...
(Rocky turns TV off)
TRINI. That reporter doesn't know the half of it!
ZACK. That's for sure!
