Scene 1: Astro Megaship: Zhane & Carrie are training on the SimuDeck against the Chromites. After successfully defeating them, the simulation stops, and Carrie & Zhane remove their helmets.

Zhane: Power down!

Carrie & Zhane power down and are wearing the traditional Astro Megaship uniforms.

Carrie: Excellent training session, Zhane!
Zhane: You weren't so bad yourself, Carrie!
Carrie: Thanks! Now, let's go find the others.

Carrie & Zhane exit the SimuDeck and head for the Bridge.

Astro Megaship Engine Room: Andros, Erik, and Adrian are working on Diagnostic Tests...

Andros: Is that the last wire?
Erik: Yeah.
Adrian: DECA, tell Karone that we're ready to start the diagnostic tests.
DECA: Okay.

= = =

Astro Megaship Bridge: Karone is at the main control panel...

Karone: Oh! I wish my brother would hurry up!
DECA: Karone, Andros and the others are ready to begin the Diagnostic Tests.
Karone: It's about time. I'm ready!

Engine Room...

DECA: Karone is ready, Andros.
Andros: Let's begin.

Scene 2: Dark Specter's ship: Dark Specter is planning an attack against the Rangers...

Dark Specter: I need a plan to combat those Lightstar punks!

Divatox enters.

Divatox: How about attacking that planet over there?

A planet appears on the View Screen. Dark Specter looks at it.

Dark Specter: That is the planet KO-35... it has been abandoned for years!
Divatox: That makes it easier to attack and claim for your own, dearest!
Dark Specter: I... Your thinking amazes me, Divatox.
Divatox: Thank you... I think...
Dark Specter: How do you propose we invade the planet?
Divatox: Let's send down some Pirahnotrons to lure the Rangers out of hiding.
Dark Specter: Pirahnotrons!

An army of 15 Pirahnotrons appears.

Dark Specter: Go to KO-35 and fight the Lightstar Rangers!

The Pirahnotrons teleport to the planet.

Scene 3: Astro Megaship Bridge: Carrie & Zhane enter...

Karone: Hi, guys!
Carrie: Hi, Karone!
Zhane: Um, Karone... what are you doing?
Karone: I'm helping my brother, Erik, and Adrian do Diagnostics.
Zhane: It looks like you're just sitting there.
Carrie: Zhane!
Karone: I happen to be monitoring for any explosions, you twit!
Carrie: Ooh...
Zhane: Oh, yeah?
Karone: Yeah!

An alarm starts going off...

DECA: Alert! Intruders on KO-35!
Karone: Home?
Zhane: DECA, tell the others!

In the Engine Room...

DECA: Alert! Intruders on KO-35!
Andros: Do the others know?
DECA: They're waiting on the Bridge.
Adrian: Let's go!
Erik: There's not a moment to lose!
Andros: Let's teleport!

The 3 teleport to the Bridge.

Andros: We have to hurry!
Zhane: Let's Rocket!

Morphing sequence, starting with the Astro Morpher opening and '3-3-5' being pressed. Zhane transforms into the Silver Ranger, Andros transforms into the Red Ranger, Erik transforms into the Blue Ranger, Adrian transforms into the Black Ranger, Carrie transforms into the Pink Ranger, and Karone transforms into the Yellow Ranger...

Andros: To the jump tubes!

The 6 Rangers run to the jump tubes. They slide down, and exit the Astro Megaship on the Galaxy Gliders. Their destination: Andros & Karone's home planet of KO-35!

Scene 4: KO-35 Main Square: The Pirahnotrons are wreaking havoc when the Rangers land...

Andros & Zhane: Stop!

The Pirahnotrons drop everything & focus on the Rangers...

Erik: Let's take these fish-heads down!

The Rangers each assume a karate stance...

Zhane: You'll never win! ...
Andros: ... We're taking you down! ...
Carrie: ... Good always wins ...
Karone: ... over evil! ...
Adrian: ... So pack your bags, ...
Erik: ... 'cause we're sending you back!
All: Hyah!

The Pirahnotrons start running towards the Rangers.

All: Let's do it!

The Rangers and the Pirahnotrons battle. The Rangers win, of course! The Pirahnotrons disappear.

Carrie: What was that all about?
Karone: I don't know.
Andros: Let's get back to the Megaship.
Adrian: Yeah, there's no telling what Dark Specter could be up to.
Zhane: Galaxy Gliders!

The 6 Galaxy Gliders come down, and the Rangers leap on to their corresponding Gliders.

All: To the Astro Megaship!

The Rangers fly back to the Astro Megaship.

Scene 5: Dark Specter's ship: Dark Specter's not too happy!

Dark Specter: Divatox, you said the Pirahnotrons were powerful!
Divatox: No, I didn't.
Dark Specter: You... are you sure?
Divatox: Yes! I think I know what I say... it does come out of my mouth, ya know!
Dark Specter: There's no need for rudeness, Divatox!
Divatox: Just send a monster down there!
Dark Specter: Which one?
Divatox: How about the Electrolyzer?
Dark Specter: What does he do?
Divatox: He can create powerful lightning bolts that will knock those Rangers out of commission!
Dark Specter: Then, I can capture them and take over that planet! Brilliant!
Divatox: Well, I do try...
Dark Specter: Send Electrolyzer down immediately!

Scene 6: KO-35 Main Square: Electrolyzer appears...

Electrolyzer: Now, to cause some disaster and lure those Rangers out again!

Electrolyzer fires a lightning bolt and destroys a lamppost.

On the Astro Megaship: the still-morphed Rangers teleport back onboard, only to be greeted with another mission!

DECA: No time for victory yet, Rangers. Dark Specter has sent a monster to KO-35. You must stop it at once!
Erik: Oh, man!
Adrian: Weren't we just there?
Karone: Ooh... let me get my hands on him! I'll--
Andros: Easy, sis! DECA, set a course for KO-35... we'll go down there when the Astro Megaship is close.
DECA: Setting course for KO-35...

= = =

Dark Specter's ship...

Dark Specter: I don't see the Rangers yet... your plan is failing!
Divatox: Just fire the torpedoes and make him grow! That will surely lure those multi-colored Power pests out of hiding!

A pause for a few moments...

Dark Specter: What are you waiting for?
Divatox: Oh? You expect me to fire the torpedoes?
Dark Specter: That's the idea... it's your monster!
Divatox: Oh, all right!

Divatox walks over and presses a button. Two torpedoes fire out of the ship and hit the Electrolyzer...

Electrolyzer: Aaaaah! That's more like it!

Back on the Astro Megaship: Zhane sees that Electrolyzer is grown...

Zhane: Um, guys...
Carrie: What, Zhane?
Zhane: The monster's really big now.
Andros: Now what will we do?
DECA: We could try to create the Astro Megazord.
Karone: The Astro what?
Erik: The Mega-who?
Zhane: Of course! The Astro Megazord!
Carrie: What are you talking about?
Zhane: DECA, create the Astro Megazord now!
DECA: Astro Megazord transformation sequence, initiated.

The Megaship is now visible by the Electrolyzer...

Electrolyzer: Rangers!

= = =

In a cockpit...

Zhane: Create Astro Megazord, now!

= = =

We see a hatch open, and a Shuttle emerges. The Megaship configures itself to look like a body. The Shuttle returns on-scene and transforms into a head. The head attaches to the body, creating the Astro Megazord. Inside the cockpit...

Andros: Wow!
Carrie: This is amazing!
Karone: But... how did you know about this, Zhane?
Zhane: Don't ask... just worry about defeating the monster!
Erik: That's our Zhane...
Adrian: ... a natural-born leader!

Scene 7: KO-35: The Astro Megazord lands and confronts Electrolyzer!

Electrolyzer: That's impressive! But not that impressive!

He fires some lightning at the Astro Megazord...

Rangers: (various pain sounds)
Andros: This is going well, Zhane!
Zhane: Power up the Astro Megazord Saber!
Erik: The what?
Zhane: Wait and see...

We see a Saber appear in the Astro Megazord's hand.

Electrolyzer: Uh oh!

Dark Specter's ship: Divatox was monitoring the battle via a telescope.

Divatox: Uh oh...
Dark Specter: 'Uh oh'... what?

= = =

Astro Megazord cockpit...

Zhane: Destroy him!

The Astro Megazord charges Electrolyzer and destroys him!

Rangers: (various cheers)

Scene 8: Dark Specter's ship: Dark Specter's unhappy (again) ...

Dark Specter: DIVATOX!!!
Divatox: Yes...?
Dark Specter: You said the monster was going to destroy the Rangers! 'Send this one down,' you said!
Divatox: Well, the Rangers called the Megazord... how was I supposed to know?
Dark Specter: You'd better not fail next time, Divatox... or else!

Dark Specter exits.

Divatox (mocking Dark Specter): 'You'd better not fail... or else!' Why, I oughtta...
Dark Specter: What was that?
Divatox: Oh, nothing!

Scene 9: Astro Megaship Bridge: The Rangers are de-morphed...

Zhane: DECA, set a course for the Hawaiian planet.
DECA: Setting course...

Carrie & Karone exchange puzzled looks.

Erik: What exactly is a Hawaiian planet?
Zhane: It's a little known planet in the Karova system... it's exactly 35 light years from KO-35!
Adrian: How come it's so unknown?
Zhane: Since KO-35 was deserted, few people still come back here... even to go to the Hawaiian planet!
Andros: I suppose we could use a vacation...
Karone: Then a vacation it is!
