According to RockRage.com, Rob Zombie's directorial debut film House of 1000 Corpses has been pushed back from the originally announced spring 2001 release to a June 10, 2001 release date. Apparently, Universal Studios is so pleased with a rough cut of the film that they moved the release date to June. The studio feels that the horror film has enough substance to compete with the heavy summer box office releases.
