Their story:
When Bo and Nora first came together, it was when she was hired to uncover the truth about his beloved Sarah's tragic death. As she toiled over the case, she found herself attracted to Bo's quiet strength all the more. A divorced lawyer, Nora was at the top of her game professionally, but yearned for a love that always seemed elusive to her. Together, Bo and Nora found they had a love for old rock and roll, junk food and old movies, as well as enjoying many nights of contagious laughter over silly things that only those from their generation would understand. After years of trying to recapture his youth by dating and marrying women young enough to be his daughter, Bo tired of the cat and mouse chase game and longed for a relationship that was comfortable, but not boring. Bo and Nora found this in each other, and together, built a relationship that withstood many trials and tribulations. In the beginning, they didn't want to marry for fear it would ruin their love. But when their friends threw them an impromptu rock and roll bash, it was hard to say no. Since that point, Bo and Nora made a commitment of trust and love to one another that shone through the late nights Nora worked on various high-profile cases and Bo's to-the-minute dedication to his job as police commissioner. It seemed that nothing would ever tarnish this perfect and most of all, real love affair, that is, until Georgie Phillips came to town.
Love's Lies Run Deep
Georgie seemed to be the perfect assistant to Nora. Almost too perfect. She was always at the ready with a suggestion or a helping hand, both professionally and personally to the busy attorney. Nora began to trust Georgie implicitly with the most personal details of her life, not knowing that her perfect assistant had one screw loose in her pile. Several people believed they saw her and Bo in a compromising position, Nora was beside herself! What they didn't know what that Bo spurned her advances at every turn, devoting himself completely to his wife. Twisted Georgie, determined to have her man, began to incorporate herself in one twisted scenario after another, even secretly videotaping herself in Bo and Nora's bedroom to further her fantasy of having Bo to herself. Later, when Georgie was murdered, they found her to be pregnant and the fetus bore Bo's blood type. Bo's son Drew also bore a heavy involvement in this situation. The twists and turns of this diabolical plot threatened to ruin nearly every life in Llanview! Add to that the reappearance of Sam Rappaport, a former lover of Nora's life, just at a time when she needed a shoulder to cry on, and you have a recipe for destruction if there ever was one!
Hope For Tomorrow?
Despite the bleakness of their situation at the moment, Bo and Nora will more than likely find their way back to one another and try to rebuild what was destroyed by mistrust between them over the course of the summer. But it will be a long road for them and a new twist to their relationship as the examine what it was that led them to mutual disbelief in each other in the first place.
