What’s a lady to do when she thinks her husband is having an affair with her legal assistant? If you’re OLTL’s beautiful and feisty Attorney, Nora Buchanan (Hillary B. Smith), first you go on a bender, then you take a razor to your hair.
In an interview with Talk Show Host Cindi Rinehart (Northwest Afternoon), Hillary B. Smith took her fans behind the scenes, and explained how her hair was really cut. First, she had her hair cut by a professional hairdresser that same morning. What viewers saw Nora hacking off, in her dramatic scene, were hair extensions that were added to give the illusion of clumps. Hillary quipped "I made them save my hair. So, the hair that's around the sink, and the first grab of hair that you see from my bangs, is actually my hair that was cut off."
Hillary went on to say that Kale Brown (Sam Rappaport) is delightful, wonderful, and terrific, then added that she’s having a great time with him.
When asked if Nora could ever forgive her on-screen husband, Bo (Robert S. Woods), Hillary replied, " I think that it would be very difficult NOT to forgive him, because he's kind of under her skin, and obviously in her hair if she's trying to cut him out of her hair! But, there's going to be some things that come up. You'll see the inability to forgive, and then forgiveness. This is a roller-coaster ride that's going to go back and forth, because the evidence is going to come in."
Hillary’s thoughts on being back on the front burner again: "Well, I was in the freezer for a while, and instead of doing the slow thaw on the counter, I went right into the frying pan. And I can't complain cause I'll tell you, the freezer is an awfully cold place to be. Because it's so active and so involved, I spend about two nights a week on the couch in my dressing room, because I don't have enough time to go home and be back in time for rehearsal."
