Okay, just so you know, I realize that a lot of these poems are lame.. but hey, I wrote them from 8th grade to sophomore year, so its alright. I havent finished putting all of them in, but as is, I have lots of poems. So for your convenience, I grouped them by category..
Christian Poems
My God
My God, he is so wonderful
He cares about us all
He smiles at us from heaven
He helps us when we fall.
He hears our prayers at any time
At anyplace; at anywhere
And even when we're in trouble deep
Just remember that He's there.
He strengthens us when we are weak
He's behind us all the way
And all you do is ask Him in
And in your heart he'll stay.
He's with us everywhere we go
Because of His love for us
He has been right there for me
In Him I place my trust.
He will never let you down
He'll be behind you all the way
He will never let you drown
If in your heart, you'll let him stay.
The Evangelist's Poem
Flowers on the hills
Cats are rocks
The times when we sang and danced
Are now all so lost.
The world has burdened us
With sorrow and fear
Each and every one of us
Must not shed a tear
I must swallow my pride
Be a little child once more
When all I wanted was a pony ride
And my jeans were soiled and torn
Goodbye burden,
I'm playing with the wind.
Free as a dove-- like you? No, I'm not pinned.
Free yourself from worldliness,
Free yourself from sin.
All you really have to do
Is pray and ask God in.
That's what makes me different.
That's what makes me free.
Completely free of burdens
Yep, that'd be me
And so you should consider
What this poem means
Its meaning is quite serious..
On the Bible, you can lean.
Yet the choice is up to you
To win or to lose
Be happy or be sad.
I would choose being glad :)
My Mind's Eye
Sitting here, I breathe in air.
Thoughts of Science are not fair
To my brain, breathing stains
The seawater, my life's blood, red
It seemed so simple,
So beautiful, so pure
Now it's too complex to flex
My mind's idea is perplexed.
My thoughts are nothing but wavelengths on an internet we call a brain?
My dreams are simply light bursts on a computer screen?
What wisdom then, might I gain?
If dreams are so superficial,
Then why do they hit home?
A tiny fragment of my brain
Can make me feel alone?
Science is too harsh for me
My feelings should at least run free
One God is truly all I need
He made us, He's the true Supremacy
My God created all of us,
Each and every one
So special and unique,
An overload of love.
Can wavelengths do so much?
Can they feel, need, care for, and love?
Only one's spirit can do such.

Friendship Poems
Do You Cry?
Do you cry?
Is that a tear in your eye?
What pain is this I see?
Could I be causing your torment?
That flood of salt water.
You're drowning.
Am I drowning too?
Give me your hand, and we'll work our way up
Together Forever
We will stay the same
I won't let you down
I won't let you drown.
We are here for eachother
Every moment of every day
Stay by my side
I'll stay by yours.
Just as a Friend
Sitting here alone
I have a choice
I must've grown
I hear my voice
"Probably not" I say to some guy who likes me
What an awful day
Rejector is rejected, you see
Him to me, me to another
Another "just a friend"
Him, a bother
Not hard to comprehend.
He is out of the picture
The other wants to be
Emotions are a mixture
Sad, disgusted, and happy
Do I sense jealousy
From the unrejected?
I can only zealously
Hope I am perfected.
Standing there alone
I have a choice
I hope I've grown
I hear his voice
"Just friends," he says
"Not that way"
My mind is blank
I don't know what to say
Lost interest
Never accumulated
Desperate
Love stimulated
Lost hope
Love unreturned
No time to mope
You have returned
As just a friend.
Realization has occurred
If it happens, I'll be glad to comprehend
But as of now, just as a friend
A Friendship Poem
Well, hello there.
Okay.Bye
The words we say first and last
Will matter for all time
I'm here for you
You're there for me too
We're here for eachother
All the way through
If you're stuck deep in a problem so steep
I'll lend you a hand
I'm not a creep
I'm odd, you're strange
In a sense, we're both the same
We talk and act and think alike
Hey! We could share a tandem bike!
I hope you like this poem,
I wrote it just for you
And what I think of friendship,
Well, I hope it'll always be true.

Love/Romance Poems
My Decision
I am faced with a decision
And I don't know what to do
I've asked my friends' advice
On how to talk to you
My friends have good advice
But who should I listen to?
Its happened to me twice
The tables were turned.. it was me, not you.
But I'm kind of scared
For me and you
If I tell you now
My feelings about you
Our friendship means alot to me
Should my personal feelings run free?
I've hinted lots and flirted (many a kind)
Please tell me you've noticed..
Or please tell me you're blind.
Actually, on this idea,
I am quite schizophrenic.
And if you knew already,
Thanks for not beginning to panic.
Perhaps one day, it'll all be true
All I've written about is like a clue
I have fallen in "like" with you
And maybe, some day, you'll like me too.
Surprise!
As I think of you,
My thoughts of love ring true.
I know you see nothing but friendship
But I want you to see it my way, too.
I know you probably know how I feel
Is that such a bad thing?
Please tell me how I make you feel
No matter what kind of emotion it'll bring.
I won't give you this poem now--
It's the key to how I feel inside.
So I'll keep this poem with me
And let you know at the right time.
I told you I write poems,
And I asked if you do, too.
And now, I guess its going to help me say:
Surprise! I love you!
Secret Passion
Secretly our passion flies
To cover up, we must use lies.
There is no other love so dear
As this, displayed upon the pier
When I see you smile,
My heart whispers dreams untold
When I hold your hand,
I am here for you to mould.
Kept inside for all this time,
My feelings can burst forth.
My emotions have no direction,
Whether it be East, West, South, or North.
This poem is a reflection of the truth.
But like a reflection, its hard to discern.
What part of this is real, and
Where my heart is turned.
