The most famous James Bond's are Sean Connery, Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, and now Pierce Brosnan. But, in 1954, in the made-for-T.V. movie "Casino Royale" one Barry Nelson was cast as James Bond. And, in 1967, (I'm not familiar with the movie) "Casino Royale" casted a different James Bond, one David Niven.
In a survey of the best James Bonds, the results show as followed:
40% of the people thought Sean Connery was the best James Bond 22.1% though Timothy Dalton was the best
21.2% thought Roger Moore was the best
16.7% thought George Lazenby was the best.
You may have noticed Pierce Brosnan is not on the list. Well, this survey was taken the day after "Goldeneye" was released in theatres. But Pierce did get two votes as best James Bond. Personally my James Bond order would be Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pirece Brosnan, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton. Sorry to say it but Timothy Dalton sucks as James Bond.
