According to an official press release,
Universal Soldier II "continues the story
of 'Luc Deveraux' (Van Damme), who has
survived his experiences as a Universal
Soldier, recovered, and is now working as
a technical expert on a governmental
project to revive and improve the Universal
Soldier training program. When S.E.T.H.,
the supercomputer controlling the Soldiers,
goes haywire and takes over, Luc is the
only man who can battle this elite team of
deadly, near-perfect warriors."

Popular WCW wrestler and undefeated
world heavyweight champion Bill Goldberg
has joined the cast of Jean-Claude Van
Damme’s Universal Soldier II. According
to an official press release from Columbia,
Goldberg "will play Romeo, a virtually
indestructible Universal Soldier who
proves a worthy adversary to Deveraux as
the hero attempts to thwart the team of
deadly, near-perfect warriors."
Universal Soldier II will shoot in and
around Dallas, Texas, through February and
will return to Los Angeles for
post-production.
