Danny, a cat, leaves his home in Kokomo, Illinois, to become a Hollywood star in one week. Unfortunately, when he gets there, he learns that cats don't dance; neither do any other animals. All of the speaking, singing, dancing, etc. roles go to humans. Animals are just animals, they can't do anything else. Danny, with the help of his new friends, proves that animals can sing and dance.

My Rating:
This was a sleeper.
It did not do too well at the box office, and as near as I can tell, VHS
sales were sluggish. But do not let that keep you from seeing this
film. It is a hoot and a half. Sure, the film has some problems,
but it is a fun ride. It makes fun of the Hollywood heyday, and the
movie posters at the end of the film are worth the wait to get to them
(you'll know what I mean when you see them).
