Synopsis:

    Jiminy Cricket is your host through two stories, Bongo and Mickey and the Beanstalk.  Bongo is about a circus bear who tries to fit in out in the wild.  Mickey and the Beanstalk, told by Edgar Bergen and his puppets Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd, along with Luana Patten, is the Jack and the Beanstalk story, this time starring Mickey, Donald and Goofy.

    Walt Disney and Edgar Bergen were friends, and Walt used Charlie's image in a couple of his cartoons.
    Edgar Bergen is the father of Candace Bergen, star of Murphy Brown.
    Fun and Fancy Free was the fourth of the package features.  A package feature was a group of shorts put together to form one feature length film.  Others films included

My Rating:
    The thing I like best about this film is Charlie McCarthy.  Bergen's sense of humor is strongly apparant in this film.
