In the final chapter of the Star Wars trilogy, the rebels discover a new Death Star is being built and they are off to destroy it. For Luke, however, he finds something else waiting for him -- Darth Vader and the Emporer. The party meets the Ewoks, a primitive alien race who turn the tide and eventually help the rebels reach their goal.

Miscellaneous:
Ian McDiarmond, the actor who portrayed
the Emporer, will play the same role in the prequels (yes, he will be younger).
The original title of the film
was Revenge of the Jedi, but Lucas changed it because revenge was not a
trait of the Jedi.
The title Blue Harvest was used
to prevent curious onlookers from finding out what the film was about.

My Rating:
I like Return of the Jedi much better now, than the original release, mostly because of the ending. The original had a cheesy song by the Ewoks. Now, it has been replaced by an instrumental score and scenes of celebration in various cities in the Star Wars universe.
