The age of the dinosaurs is ending.  In order to survive, groups of dinosaurs head to a mythical valley.  Littlefoot, a long neck, is traveling with his family when an earthquake separates him from them.  He finds friends in Sarah, a three horn, Petrie, a flier, Ducky and Spike.  Together, they learn the benefits of friendship as they strive to reach the Great Valley.

Miscellaneous:
    The film, good as it is, spawned four (count them, four) sequels, bad as they are.  They relegate the group to songs and impossible adventures.

MPAA Rating:
    G  some animal attacks (non bloody).

My Rating:
    This film is a good alternative for youngsters who can't watch Jurrasic Park.  Speilberg is behind it, and Bluth does good animation.
