Princess Aurora is cursed by an evil fairy to die at the age of sixteen after pricking her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. To prevent her death, a good fairy changes the spell so the girl will fall asleep instead of dying. The king orders the destruction of all spinning wheels in the kingdom and the child is hidden with the good fairies until her sixteenth birthday to prevent the curse from even occuring. Unfortunately, the inebidable happens, and it is up to Prince Phillip to reawaken the princess, but only after battling one of the largest Disney villians ever.

My Rating:
I used to not like this movie because
of the animation style. I've gotten to really like it over time,
so don't let that stop you from watching it. It is one of the better
Disney films from the silver age. The animation is wonderful, and
if possible see it in Widescreen.
