Hey, I stopped by your page because a friend told me of the
story about
Noel Gallagher.
Oasis is my favorite band.
Anyway, the reason I e-mailed, I saw your anti-backstreet boys
site. I
just thought I'd point out a few misconceptions for the hell of
it...
1.They aren't manufactured or put together. They came together
because
they knew each other beforehand and two of them are cousins.
2.They do play their own instruments, usually in concert they
play a few
songs together, and they have written many songs, one of which
was on
their second(Canadian) album.
On top of that, they've written many of the songs for their new
album.
3.As for staying power, they've been around here(Canada again)
and
Europe since '95 and have put out two albums here. They're still
going
strong.
I'm not your typical fan either...I listen to mostly rock,
classic rock,
brit rock. I always dissed them, from the moment they came out
here, but
I started listening to them a few months ago, and ended up
buying their
CDs. While their first album was fairly unoriginal, it had its
moments.
Their second album is much more diverse and quite good actually.
From
what I know of them, they're not all that fake at all, and
definitely
not targeting young girls, they want to make music for everyone.
Most
importantly, each of them have gorgeous voices, there's no
denying it.
I'm not criticizing your page, just informing you...as a former
Backstreet basher...

Everclear, no matter how wonderfully gifted you may think they
are, are gonna
fade. Okay, I'll give 'em a couple years, a few tours here and
there, and (ooh
joy!) a new poprock album. But there is no way in hell that they
will stick
around and keep that so-called talent.
Of course I know that! Nobody wants to listen to a bunch of fifty year olds trying to sing. I still dont see what her point is though. Maybe she thinks the BSB will still be singing when they are fifty (HAHAHAHA)
There is going to be some
point on the
big ol' timeline called "Life" where they will be doing bar gigs
in Indiana.
No. They'll probably just break up.
And another thing about the Backstreet Boys, so what if you
think they "sing
like girls" and are homosexual? (Oh by the way, I haven't seen
too many gay
guys singing about women.)

They are still decent musicians. If
they are a
phase, just let the preteen girls have some fun for a little
while.

This isn't a "hate" page. I want to make that clear to everyone. This is simply me letting my opinions be known. And BSB are NOT TALENTED! How can a group that was put together by some old drunk guy, has another old drunk guy write their music, and dances like headless chickens dispite endless lessons be considered talented.

Maybe you should try listening to Everclear sometime. You might learn something. Art Alexakis doesn't need old drunks to write his songs and get him record deals. He writes Everclears songs, and he has his own record LABEL.
