Revenge How Sweet It Is
An Eye For An Evil Eye
Enigmatic philosopher Carl Hutchins has been Bay City's very own Charles Bronson ever since his son, police captain Ryan Harrison, was shot by half-brother Grant. Hell-bent on avenging Ryan's murder, Carl has been obsessed with seeing the senator brought to justice to the point that it almost cost him his marriage to Rachel. Although Grant initially was carted off to jail for killing his sibling, he received a pardon and was released. When Grant's ex-wife, Vicky, was involved in a car-bomb explosion, Carl began to suspect the predatory politician was behind the evil deed, and he found a new vehicle for his revenge. Working with the police, Carl helped get Grant institutionalized. Rachel didn't like her husband bending the law (before they were married, he engaged in all sorts of nefarious doings), but, says Victoria Wyndham, who plays the fretful Mrs. Hutchins," I think she knows deep down that she would do the same thing. You wouldn't love anybody as deeply as she loves Carl without understanding what drives him." No wonder she's worried. "She already lost one husband who was the love of her life," points out Wyndham. "She doesn't want to lose another one. That's the only reason why she's trying to get Carl off this track. It's not because she doesn't understand, but because it's bad for his health." With a baby on the way, the last thing Rachel wants to be doing is picking out funeral attire. Maybe Carl should consider that before he undertakes his next vendetta.
