One of Bastion's aides during Operation Zero Tolerance, Daria was a Manite that assisted in retrieving Jubilee's memories so that Bastion could gain access to the X-Men's secrets. Daria eventually helped Jubilee escaped, and led a group of Prime Sentinels away from Jubilee so that she could get away safely. It is presumed that Daria was destroyed by the Prime Sentinels.


Dark Beast

The Dark Beast is an older and less moral version of this reality's Beast, who came here from the "Age of Apocalypse" through the M'kraan Crystal. Emerging in this reality 20 years in the past, the Dark Beast was responsible for the creation of the Morlocks and then later Gene Nation. As brilliant as the Beast, the Dark Beast has genetically engineered constructs who work for him, among them Fatale and Random. He was behind the kidnapping and brainwashing of Havok, and for the kidnapping of the Beast whom he replaced on the X-Men for a time. He was then discovered by Onslaught, whom he worked for, and was later released from jail by Havok, who allowed him to join the Brotherhood. It was revealed that Havok formed the Brotherhood so he could discover the Dark Beast's true plans, and after finding out he confronted the Dark Beast but was stopped by members of Xaviers' Underground Enforcers, who revealed that if Havok pursued the Dark Beast, millions would die of a virus that the Dark Beast had planned to unleash. The Dark Beast escaped, and his current whereabouts are unknown.


Darkstar

Darkstar is a russian mutant with the ability to wield an alien form of energy called the darkforce. Originally a member of the Soviet Super-Soldiers, she left and travelled to America, where she joined up with the Champions. After a brief romance with Iceman (also a member of the Champions at the time), Darkstar quit and returned to Russia. The former Soviet Super-Soldiers defected to the United States, only to be captured and returned to the Soviet Union. There, they were rescued by Father Garnoff (now known as Blind Faith) and his team called the Exiles, whom she joined. In one mission with the Exiles, Darkstar and Blind Faith encountered a immensely powerful psychic being, the Soul Skinner, who had taken over a small Russian town. With the help of the X-Men, the Soul Skinner was defeated. Afterwards, Darkstar was captured by General Tskarov who wanted to use her abilities in his plans to cripple American business along the east coast, even if that meant putting her through painful scientific experiments. She was discovered by her former teammate (and Tskarov's other pawn), Ursa Major, and with his help, along with that of Daredevil, the Black Widow, and her brother Vanguard, helped stopped Tskarov's plan. Afterwards she returned to Russia and rejoined the Exiles.

Amanda Sefton is the lover of Nightcrawler, and the daughter of the sorceress Margali Szardos. During her tenure as a member of Excalibur, Amanda convinced Shadowcat to give her Magik's Soulsword for safe-keeping. Amanda gave the sword to her mother Margali, but Margali had been driven insane and used the Soulsword to kill everyone ahead of her on the Winding Way, a path of mystical power, and joined the London Hellfire Club, who were planning to destroy London and take over Britain. After helping to defeat her mother and the Hellfire Club, Amanda left Excalibur without telling Nightcrawler. In actual fact, Margali had been captured by Belasco upon her defeat, and switched bodies with Amanda so that she could recuperate and win back her freedom and her position on the Winding Way. Eventually Margali, using Amanda's body, made her way back to Limbo, where mother and daughter switched back and defeated Belasco with Nightcrawler's help. After defeating Belasco, Amanda assumed the role as the Mistress of Limbo.

A mutant whose abilities manifested themselves when she was in her late teens, Alison Blaire chose to be a professional singer rather than follow her father into law. She used her light-generating abilities to supplement her stage act until during one act the Hellfire Club crashed in and she battled them alongside the X-Men. After a while, she was possessed by the Marauder Malice, but was freed by the X-Men which she then joined. Whilst with the X-Men she met Longshot and the pair fell in love. Dazzler left to join Longshot in his fight against Mojo, bringing the X-Men with her. After successfully defeating Mojo, it was discovered that she was pregnant with Longshot's child...


Deadbolt

Deadbolt was a member of the second incarnation of the Dark Riders which were banded together by Genesis. The Dark Riders captured Cyber so that Genesis could strip his adamantium in his plan to make Wolverine his first Horseman. Deadbolt was slain by Wolverine after he rejected the adamantium and regressed to a feral state.

Ernest St Ives was originally a soldier in World War I when he almost succumbed to mustard gas. His strong will to live fought off death but he was forever changed, possessed of the power to kill with a touch of his hands. He first ran afoul of Alpha Flight when he abducted Aurora. The mysterious woman named Nemesis arrived and hacked Deadly Ernest to pieces. However, St Ives did not die. The pieces of his corpse were transferred to a hospital that housed Scramble, who reanimated Ernest. This led to a second confrontation with Alpha Flight, during which Puck used Nemesis' sword to finally kill St Ives. After the battle, Nemesis was revealed to be St Ives own daughter, who was seeking revenge on St Ives for his killing her mother, his own wife.

Wade Wilson was a member of the same Weapon X project that spawned Wolverine and Sabretooth years before. In an attempt to cure him of cancer, the project bombarded him with radiation which cured the cancer but also horribly scarred his body as well as granting him a fast healing factor similar to Wolverine's. He left the program and became one of the world's best mercenaries-for-hire, employed once by Tolliver to capture Cable. Once in love with Copycat, Deadpool showed a merciful side of himself when he used part of his healing factor to heal her after she was injured by Slayback. Deadpool aided Siryn when she was trapped in a Mental Asylum, ending up being imprisoned himself until Siryn returned to rescue him. Deadpool and Siryn have a romance of sorts but this is currently being threatened by the presence of Typhoid Mary, who is twisting Deadpool into becoming more vicious.

Daughter to the mad Shi'ar emperor D'Ken, Deathbird wasn't happy with her sister Lilandra being heir to the Shi'ar Empire, so she had her exiled to Earth. After meeting up with the X-Men, Lilandra regained control of her empire. It was then taken over by the Skrulls, and Deathbird, with the aid of the X-Men, regained the Shi'ar homeworld from Skrull rule. Not willing to rule anymore, Deathbird departed and was not seen again until the X-Men were recruited by the Shi'ar to stop the menace of a combined Brood/Phalanx invasion. Charged with ensuring the X-Men returned home safely, Deathbird accompanied them on their voyage home but she and Bishop were separated from the X-Men after an accident onboard their starship and are still together, lost in space.


Deathstrike, Lady

Lady Deathstrike's father, Lord Darkwind, was the one who developed the process for bonding adamantium to a skeleton to reinforce it. Upon learning of Wolverine possessing such a skeleton, Deathstrike believed he had stolen her father's process and was transformed by Spiral and Donald Pierce into a cyborg with adamantium laced claws, giving her the ability to combat Wolverine on an equal basis. When Wolverine lost his adamantium thanks to Magneto, he was confronted by Deathstrike who, upon discovering his condition, gave up her quest for revenge. Recently, Deathstrike was sent to kill Domino by Pierce, but failed.

Depth Charge

Depth Charge was a member of the mercenary pack called the Outcasts, a team of which Puck was also a member. After returning to Canada, the Outcasts encountered Puck, along with Northstar and Wildheart, who were responsible for bringing him to justice. The other members of the Outcasts also got involved in the fight, and were turned over to the authorities when the Alpha Flight members won.

Diamond Lil was originally a member of Jerry Jaxon's Omega Flight, a team he banded together to combat Alpha Flight. After Omega Flight were defeated, Lil joined the trainee team of Gamma Flight and it was then that she met Madison Jeffries and after a while the two fell in love and got married. With the recent reformation of Alpha Flight, Madison has rejoined the team but Lil's whereabouts are unknown.

Dirt Nap possesses the power to absorb other living beings and take on their forms. He first encountered Wolverine when he absorbed a young boy, and he then attempted to absorb Wolverine but couldn't due to Wolverine's healing factor. He escaped from Wolverine by absorbing a rat and taking on its form. He later encountered Wolverine again when he was a member of Genesis' Dark Riders, and was the only one to survive after Wolverine went feral. He then encountered Wolverine again when he and Chimera teamed up to exact revenge. Wolverine managed to save the boy he had absorbed, but Dirt Nap was seemingly killed in an implosion with Chimera.

Domino was originally a member of Cable's Wild Pack, during which time she and Cable had a romance. Once the Wild Pack disbanded, Domino returned when Cable formed X-Force, or so it seemed. The Domino that joined X-Force was actually the morph Copycat disguised as Domino, whilst the real Domino was a prisoner of Tolliver (and had been for quite some time). Freed by Cable, he asked her to track down X-Force whilst he returned to find Tolliver. Domino tracked down the old members of the Six Pack in an attempt to locate the whereabouts of Cable and his new team, which she did and subsequently rejoined them. Domino's mutant power is the ability to have things 'fall into place' for her. During Operation Zero Tolerance, Domino was captured by an old enemy, Ekatarina Gryaznova, and had a device implanted which disrupts her mutant power. Separated from X-Force, Domino sought help and discovered that if the device were to be removed it would leave her paralysed from the neck down.


Doppleganger

Wolfgang Heinrich was a respected bio-physicist in Russia. Secretly a mutant, he possesses the power to take on the appearance and powers of any other nearby mutant. He also ran a secret research program that involved using mutants, dead or alive, as biological weapons. Using the Crimson Dynamo as the guard for his facility, he ran afoul of X-Factor when they were asked to investigate the rumours of Heinreich's project. Doppleganger was seemingly killed in the encounter, but was revealed to have escaped and ended up onboard a plane bound for the United States. His whereabouts since then are unknown.


Double Trouble

Double Trouble are twin girls who both possess the ability to discharge plasma bursts when they are in physical contact with each other. They were recruited into the revamped Weapon Prime unit to track down X-Force.


Douglock

Douglock was once believed to be the synthesis of three separate beings: Douglas Ramsey (aka Cypher, former New Mutants member who was slain by the Ani-Mator), Warlock(an alien refugee who forged a close bond with Cypher, and when he died during the X-Tinction Agenda his ashes were scattered onto Cypher's grave), and the alien entity known as the Phalanx. It has since been revealed that he took on Ramsey's appearance as a mark of respect. At first, Douglock had no memories (at most, flashes of a past life) but had an individual conscience even being part of the Phalanx. Later, he escaped helped by Zero and helped to destroy the Phalanx menace. He later joined Excalibur and was captured by the secretive organisation Black Air, who used him to harness the power of an ancient demon living beneath London. Rescued by his teammates, Douglock is resuming his quest to become more human. Recently, he and Wolfsbane have become attracted to each other.

Dreamqueen

The creature known only as the Dreamqueen is the daughter of the cosmic being known as Nightmare, and a succubus. Like all her kind, the child was born by taking over the body of the mother, effectively killing her. The Dreamqueen discovered this dimension thanks to the creature known as Goblyn, who apparently comes from the same dimension. The Dreamqueen caused Goblyn to lead Alpha Flight to her, so that they could lead her back into this dimension so she could conquer it. Her plan was thwarted by Alpha Flight and Pathway, who teleported her to a dimension farther away from Earth than her own. The Dreamqueen discovered the ability to re-enter this dimension through the dreams of people, but she was once again defeated by Alpha Flight. The Dreamqueen later revealed to the members of Alpha Flight a possible future that would mean their deaths. Thanks to the Dreamqueen, Alpha Flight were able to stop the Master from taking over Canada.


Driver

The Driver's quest is to save mutants in the year 2099, and he does that by reducing them to a genetic imprint and storing that in his immense computer database. When the database was accidentally destroyed by Junkpile, the Driver fled. His current whereabouts are unknown.
