They later married, and whilst on their honeymoon encountered the man who would be Wolverine who was in a savage state. When James was apparently killed in battle with Omega Flight, Heather took the suit and became leader of Alpha Flight as Vindicator, later changing her codename to Guardian. James returned, died again, and returned once more, and not long after his second 'resurrection' Alpha Flight was disbanded by the government. She and James went off to do research at a station in the Antarctic, then assisted Professor X when he was looking into Wolverine's current feral state. With the recent reformation of Alpha Flight, she has rejoined the team with a new costume that allows her to siphon tectonic energy and release it in the form of magma blasts, geyser bursts, and other such phenomena.

Voght, Amelia

Real Name: Amelia Voght

Group Affiliation: Formerly Acolytes

Known Allies: Formerly Charles Xavier

Amelia Voght has had a long history with Charles Xavier, being his lover before he even conceived of the idea of the X-Men. Even though they knew each other were mutants at this point, they had a falling out over philosophical differences and she never appeared in his life again until her appearance as an Acolyte. She attempted to quit the Acolytes a number of times, most recently just as a revived Fabian Cortez was attempting to use Joseph to gain control of the Acolytes. With her help, Cortez was defeated and Joseph did not return to his villainous ways. However, in doing so, all her ties with the Acolytes were severed, and she set out on her own. Amelia has the power to turn her body into an intangible mist and can travel great distances whilst in this form.
