Chapters 1-5

*****CHAPTER 1*****

''Andreas, you will remain here. When I return, I'll want my champaign ready & I'll want a massage'', Helena instructed Andreas. ''Yes, madame. As you wish'', Andreas answered. ''Wonderful'', said Helena as she caressed his cheek. ''I shall return shortly'', she continued as she left the yacht. Andreas waited several minutes to be sure that she was gone. That woman's touch, hell, the sound of her voice, made him sick. He has been there far too long & it was time to finish what he had gone there for. Andreas went back into Helena's office. Andreas was no killer, he would not allow himself to be dragged down to Helena's level...he would take her down legally...more or less. He approached the safe & looked at it. Helena didn't give him the combination as she trusted no one with the information she kept in there. Fortunately, he knew how to get into a safe if he had to. He would just have to be patient. After several minutes, Andreas was able to get the safe open. Inside there were many papers, all of them highly confidential & most of them damning to Helena in one way or other. He found what he was looking for. A document that incriminated her in the death of his brother, Ari. Damn her! He had hoped that he could prove Ari's death an accident so that he knew that Ari didn't suffer at the hands of Helena Cassadine...or in this case, at her order as this document showed that she hired someone to do the job for her. He put the document in the inner pocket of his jacket. He didn't have to stay much longer now. As he went to close the door of the safe, he saw an envelope that read ''Mikkos' last will & testament''. He didn't know why, but something moved him to pick it up & read it. His jaw dropped as he read what the will said. ''My god'', he whispered. He folded up the document & put it into his pocket with the first one. He was about to close the safe again when he decided it would be better to take copies, so he went to the copier & copied both documents, but the copies in his pocket, replaced the originals in the safe & closed the door. After making sure he had cleaned up every trace of evidence that he was there, he left the room & went to his room. He picked up his cell phone & dialed a number. ''We need to have a meeting & it has to be right away while Helena is not here...thank you, I'm on my way.'', he said & hung up. He then quickly left the yacht to make his meeting.  Moments later, he was being shown into Stefan's office at Wyndemere. ''Now, what is this urgent business you need to discuss?'', asked Stefan. ''Helena's been keeping something very important from everyone in the Cassadine family. A couple of things in fact'', Andreas explained. ''And what would they be?'', asked Stefan. Andreas pulled the two documents from his pocket & handed the copy of the will to Stefan. Stefan put on his glasses & reviewed the contents of the will & then looked at Andreas. He then slowly removed his glasses. ''You do realize what all of this means, do you not?'', he asked. ''Yes, I do.'', said Andreas. ''This completely restructures the family hierarchy. Nikolas is not the sole heir...my father did away with that system when he ran everything. Helena has been keeping this from us for almost 40 years.'', said Stefan. ''Yes, she did. And she killed our brother'', said Andreas. ''Yes, and for that she must pay.'', said Stefan as he stood & walked around to the front of his desk to stand in front of Andreas. ''Welcome to the family, my brother.'', said Stefan. ''Thank you, Stefan'', said Andreas as he stood & they embraced. ''We must speak with Alexis & Nikolas immediately'', said Stefan as he picked up the phone & dialed a number. 
Meanwhile, Helena returned to her yacht & found it empty. ''Andreas? Where are you?'', she called out. She shook her head as she found no champaign & no preparations for her massage. She went to her office & looked around. She checked the counter on her printer...there have been copies made. Worried, she went to her safe & saw that it was not like she left it. She left the papers a certain way for just such an occurance. ''He knows'', she said to herself. She picked up the phone & dialed a number. ''I want Lucky Spencer brought to me immediately...I don't care who's job you think it is, find him & bring him to me or you will suffer my wrath...that's more like it'', she said & slammed the phone down. She sat down at her desk & tapped her fingernail on the desk. Andreas betrayed her & must be dealt with immediately. But how? 
At Wyndemere, Alexis reviewed the copy of the will. She explained for Nikolas' benefit that there was no more sole heir. The Cassadine dynasty would be divided according to the terms of Mikkos' will. ''Does Helena know you have this information?'', asked Alexis. ''I'm not sure. I did everything I could to erase any traces of evidence that I had been there, but you never can tell.'', he answered her. ''Well, as a precaution, you must not return to the yacht. If Helena even suspects that you know anything, your life will be at risk. You will stay here at Wyndemere'', said Stefan. ''Thank you, Stefan'', said Andreas. ''I don't understand something. Why keep you as a servant?'', asked Nikolas. ''Mikkos had something of a wandering eye as you can tell by my existance. Andreas is quite a few years younger than me, so I can only assume that after Helena killed my mother, Mikkos had another affair on Helena. Andreas & Ari were the results. What better way to punish them than to keep them as her servants & force them to do her bidding. Then, at whatever point she wished, she could eliminate them. Unfortunately, we didn't learn this in time to save Ari, but we can avenge his death.'', explained Alexis. ''Exactly what I was planning to do. I had only planned to find evidence that proved her guilty of his murder. I found the evidence that she hired someone & then I found the will'', said Andreas. ''Keep that evidence hidden & we will put this copy of the will away. Unfortunately we'll need the original to pursue anything that this will claims & the sooner the better'', said Alexis. Stefan immediately picked up the phone & ordered a guard to watch Helena's yacht at all times. They were to inform him immediately when Helena left. As he hung up, he turned to Andreas. ''Once she leaves, you & I will board the yacht & retrieve the original copy of the will.'', said Stefan. ''And if she's destroyed it by now?'', asked Andreas. ''Father was a very thorough person & didn't completely trust my mother. There is another draft somewhere. We will simply have to find it.'', said Stefan. ''Once we have done that, then we plan our revenge on Helena. She will pay dearly for her deceptions on us & for murdering our brother. She will not get away with this. She has done all the damage she will be allowed to do to this family. It is time that she is the one to feel the damage'', finished Stefan as Andreas, Alexis & Nikolas agreed. 
Lucky Spencer was brought into Helena's parlor. She smiled at him. ''Hello, Lucky. I hope you are well today'', she said to him. ''Hello, Helena. Why did Dimitri come after me this time?'', he asked. ''Instead of Andreas or in general?'', she asked him. ''Both, I guess'', said Lucky. ''Andreas is not here. In fact, he has turned on us. And in general? I told you that one day, I'd ask you for a favor in gratitude for my saving you from Faison. I'm asking for for that favor now. I'm asking for you to help me deal with the turncoat, Andreas Andropolous & I won't take no for an answer'', she told him.

*****CHAPTER 2*****

''So, are we clear on the plans to deal with Andreas?'', asked Helena. ''Completely'', said Lucky. ''Excellent. I will be meeting with one of our other partners shortly. Andreas must pay for his betrayal & the terms of the will must not be enforced. Things need to remain as they are, that is of the utmost importance'', stressed Helena. ''I understand. Please don't worry, we will deal with the turncoat & things will remain as is. Too many people need things to stay like this'', said Lucky. ''Excellent. I'm so glad you understand. Report your progress to me regularly'', said Helena. ''I will.'', said Lucky as he left. After she watched him go, Helena smiled to herself. ''I am on my way. Its time to put the next part of my plan into place'', she said as she picked up the phone & dialed a number. 
Andreas was settling into his room when there was a knock at the door. He turned towards the locked door, but didn't say anything. ''Andreas, its Stefan. May I enter?'', asked Stefan. Andreas went & unlocked the door. ''Of course. I apologize for the locked door'', said Andreas. ''I understand completely. In your position, you choose to take extra safety precautions. Speaking of that, I wanted to inform you that I have taken the liberty of assigning a bodyguard to you for the times when you must leave the house. I would prefer that you didn't leave until we had Helena neutralized, but I understand that it may become unavoidable.'', explained Stefan. ''Thank you, I appreciate that'', said Andreas. Stefan went to the door & signalled for someone to come in. A moment later, a well built, armed man walked into the room. ''This is Dimitri. He will be your guard at all times. If there is a change for whatever reason, the information will come from me only & in person. If anyone else informs you of a change or you get a note or phone call from someone claiming to be me, I need you to let me know immediately.'', said Stefan. ''You have my word'', said Andreas. ''Well, I shall leave you to your settling in. Is there anything you require?'', asked Stefan. ''Well, I left all of my belongings on the yacht...my clothes, money, toiletries, and such'', explained Andreas. ''I will see that they are replaced immediately'', said Stefan. ''Thank you. I don't know how I will ever repay you'', said Andreas. ''You don't. I'm your brother & I will do anything I can for you'', said Stefan. Andreas nodded. The idea of having a brother again would take some getting used to. ''I only wish we discovered this earlier. Then, Ari would be with us today as well.'', said Andreas. ''So do I. As we said before, Helena will pay for murdering our brother. We will see to that.'', said Stefan. ''If you need anything else, just call Mrs. Landsbury & she will see that you get it. In the meantime, relax. We have much to do in the morning'', he continued, & then turned & left the room. After Dimitri stepped outside the door, Andreas closed the door and then went & lay on his bed. He felt more free than he had in a long time. Andreas decided that once Helena was taken care of, he would go about learning about his parents. Stefan was right, there is much to do tomorrow. It will be a long day, thought Andreas as he turned out the light & then soon fell asleep. 
He had gotten a phone call from Helena an hour ago. Helena had ordered him to be at her yacht immediately...she had a mutually beneficial proposition that she wished to present to him. He started to protest the invitation & tell her to go to hell when she mentioned his most vulnerable point. This made him not only curious, but angry. Now, to top it off, he was being kept waiting in her parlor alone...something he recognized as a mind game of hers, so he wasn't letting it get to her. He sat down on the couch & propped his feet up on the coffee table, making himself completely at home. He clasped his hands behind his head, leaned back & closed his eyes...a little message to Helena that she wasn't intimidating him. A moment later, he heard the door open & turned to see Helena enter the room, smiling at him. She sauntered over to the couch & sat down next to him. ''Well, now, Mr. Jacks, let's discuss what you will do for me in exchange for that drug you are fighting so badly to acquire for Miss Morgan'', she said to him. ''What I will do for you?'', he asked her. ''Yes, of course. I'm not going to just hand it over to you.'', she said when she saw a brief flash of anger in his eyes. ''You do want to save Miss Morgan's life, don't you?'', she asked. ''How do I know you will give me the drug after you get what you want?'', he asked her. ''You have my word. Besides, I need your particular talents too badly to not give you what you want. I'll even give you a few doses to get by until we're done...it won't be enough to cure her of course, but it will enough to take away much of the pain she's suffering'', promised Helena. Jax looked at her for a moment. He was furious that she would blackmail him like this, but he was willing to do anything he had to in order to save Chloe since he was unable to purchase the pharmaceutical company & Helena blocked the release of the drug Chloe needed. He sighed, knowing he had no choice but to do as she asked. ''What do you need me to do?'', he asked. Helena smiled. ''I thought you might ask that'', she said. ''Quite simple, actually. I just want you to do what you do best...corporate raiding. You will buy out all the corporations in this file'', she said handing him a file. ''These are all the businesses and corporations, including General Hospital, that Stefan is CEO, major stockholder or whatever on. I will finance this operation completely & the company name we will use will simply be a front for me.'', she explained. ''I want to be able to run Stefan out of every business he is involved in...I want him financially ruined.'', she continued. Jax wasn't happy about it, but agreed...for Chloe's sake. When they were done with their meeting, Helena gave Jax a bottle containing several doses of the drug he needed for Chloe & the directions how to take it, and Jax left. ''My dear son...you and your bastard siblings don't know how much you will suffer. My grand plan is in motion. I will destroy you all.'', she said to herself. Her most brilliant moves were yet to be set in motion.

*****Chapter 3*****

Later the next day, Andreas returned to Wyndemere, exhausted. As he sat down on the couch, Stefan & Alexis joined him. ''Have you been able to learn anything?'', asked Alexis. ''Quite a bit, actually. I learned about my parents.'', Andreas told them. ''Would you care to share the story with us?'', asked Stefan. ''Of course'', answered Andreas. He waited for Stefan & Alexis to be seated before he continued. 
''As you both know, Mikkos Cassadine had a wandering eye where the ladies were concerned. Anyhow, after Helena killed Alexis' mother, Mikkos was apparently & obviously quite upset. Word has it that he never shared a bed with Helena again from that night. Anyhow, Mikkos took a liking to a certain young housemaid. She had a crush on him, so she was obviously flattered that he showed an interest in her. The maid was quite spirited & wasn't afraid of Helena...apparently because Mikkos went to extremes to protect this maid.'', started Andreas.
''I believe I remember her. Daria was her name, wasn't it?'', asked Stefan. ''That's right.'', answered Andreas before continuing.   ''Then you also remember that soon after Mikkos & Daria engaged in their affair, Mikkos had her sent away to one of his private retreats...a place he went to when he needed time alone. She was sent away because she was pregnant with Ari & me. Mikkos was afraid that Helena would strike against Daria & endanger my brother & me. Unfortunately, Helena was able to learn where Daria was being kept & went, with a doctor, to visit her at the end of her pregnancy when Mikkos was away on business. Helena intended to wait there until Daria went into labor, knowing that she was due at any time. As it happens, Daria had just gone into labor when Helena & the doctor arrived. She was about to call for help, but Helena stopped her. She sat back & watched with the doctor as Daria went through the stages of labor, waiting for the time of delivery to come, and, of course, offering no comfort to Daria as she suffered through labor. When it was time to deliver, Helena had the doctor put Daria to sleep & had him take us from her. When Daria awakened, the doctor, Ari & I were gone. She found only Helena sitting there, smiling at her. Of course she asked for us, but Helena told her that she had twin boys & would never see them again. This upset Daria and she became hysterical. Helena looked at her coldly as she begged for her to return me & Ari to her. The next morning, Mikkos returned to the retreat to find Helena & Daria there together. She ordered that Mikkos send Daria away for good & return with her to the main compound or else she would have us killed. Mikkos & Daria reluctantly agreed to this...Daria went away & Mikkos returned home. Word is that Mikkos knew where Daria was & would visit her whenever he was where she was. Again, Helena found out, but instead of killing us, she killed Daria, promising that Ari would be allowed to live, but would live our lives in servitude to her. She wanted the last thing our mother heard to be that Ari & I would be her slaves for life. Then she ended our mother's life'', Andreas said, ending the story. 
Stefan & Alexis were silent for a moment, absorbing what they had just heard. They knew this was exactly the kind of act that Helena was capable of. ''I'm so sorry, Andreas, You must believe that if I had any clue that you were my brother...'', started Stefan as Andreas interrupted him. ''I know...I know you would have. The important thing to do now is to look towards the future. That we bond as the family that we are & that Helena pay for all she's done to everyone...especially my mother & Alexis'.'', Andreas said softly. ''You have my word...both of you'', Stefan told Andreas & Alexis. ''Helena will be made to pay for everything she has made the both of you suffer'', Stefan promised him. 
Meanwhile, at Helena's yacht, Helena was waiting for a visitor...one of the two pieces of her plan that she was most proud of. One of Helena's guards came in to announce the arrival of her guest. ''Thank you, Marco'', she told the guard as she stood & prepared for her guest to enter. ''You do know that I wouldn't have come if Lucky wasn't mentioned. What do you want, Helena?'', asked Laura. ''I want to offer you a deal.'', Helena said smoothly. ''What kind of deal?'', asked Laura. ''How would you like your son back the way you remember him? He would be the son you knew & loved before Faison abducted him & he would love & respect you and Luke as before.'', Helena offered. ''What would you want in return?'', asked Laura. ''Its quite simple, my dear. Your break up with Stefan hurt him, as you must know. In return for your son, you reconcile with Stefan for a while & help me to break him completely.'', Helena explained. Laura looked out the wind of the parlor. She still cared for Stefan...on some level she even loved him. She didn't wish to see Stefan hurt let alone destroyed. But, perhaps she could turn this around to her advantage...perhaps she could get some measure of revenge on Helena, Laura thought to herself. She smiled & turned to Helena. ''I want my son back & I'll do anything to get him back. What do I have to do?'', she asked. ''For now, just start trying to win him back. I have no doubt that you will accomplish this. He still loves you & with the right words, he will take you back in no time. Once you & he are a couple again, you will receive further instructions.'', explained Helena, secretly planning to have Laura watched at all times. She needed Laura, but she was not a fool...she didn't trust Laura completely. ''I'll get started on it right away. I'll expect my son to be 'deprogrammed' or whatever immediately after I accomplish this'', said Laura. ''But of course, my dear'', said Helena with a smile. ''Shall we seal the deal with a drink?'', she asked. ''Thank you, but no. I'd like to start this immediately'', said Laura. ''Of course'', said Helena as she watched Laura leave. A moment later, she heard footsteps as someone entered the room. ''You will watch her closely?'', Helena asked without turning around. ''Yes, of course I will. Laura will not ruin what we are working so hard to accomplish, I promise....grandmother'', said Nikolas as he kissed Helena's cheek.

*****Chapter 4*****

Stefan was in the middle of reading some papers when he was interrupted with a phone call. He answered the call with a sigh. ''Cassadine''. ''Mr. Cassadine, sir? We need to call a meeting as soon as possible.'', said the man who managed one of his overseas operations. ''What is the problem?'', Stefan asked calmly. ''Well, I think that is better discussed in person. I have just arrived in Port Charles. I thought the sooner we discuss this, the better'', said the manager. ''Fine. I am at home. You have the address'', Stefan said shortly. Both men hung up. Thirty minutes later, the manager arrived at Wyndemere. ''Now, what is this urgent business of yours?'', asked Stefan. ''Well, sir, I thought you should be briefed about who you now work for'', said the manager. ''I beg your pardon? Who *I* work for?'', asked Stefan. ''Yes sir. I'm afraid you no longer hold the majority share of the business. You now work for someone else.'', the manager stated nervously. Stefan looked at the man intensely as the man started to explain things to him.  Things were no better for Stefan over at GH. After doing some research, Alan & Monica found someone to approach about taking over as CEO of GH. After all, Stefan practically dared them to...now they did. They were in Alan's office when the potential benefactor walked in. Alan & Monica stood to greet him. ''Hello, Jax. Thank you for meeting us on such short notice.'', said Alan. ''You said it was on important business. You have a proposition for me. That's something I can never resist. What is your offer?'', asked Jax. ''How would you like to take over as CEO of General Hospital?'', asked Alan. ''Don't you already have a CEO? Stefan Cassadine?'', asked Jax. ''If that's what you want to call it. Look, the man is never in town, let alone in the hospital. The nurses' strike could have ended in half the time if he would have given a damn enough to grace us with his presence & help with negotiatios. He treats this hospital like a hobby & it is too risky to entrust this institution to someone who has so little respect for it. Hell, he dared us to find someone to take over. We looked around & found you to be the most viable candidate. Anyhow, I drew up a proposal...'', said Alan when Jax raised his hand to silence him. This was perfect & would put Jax ahead of schedule in what he had to do for Chloe. ''I don't need the proposal, I accept. Let's get the paperwork started immediately, shall we?'', suggested Jax. Alan & Monica looked at each other, smiling. They couldn't wait to tell Stefan that he was no longer a part of General Hospital. 
Nikolas walked into L&B entertainment just as he would any other day. There was only one more person Helena needed control of to make her plan work. Nikolas was to make sure that Helena got that control. Nikolas sat down & started going through his mail when Ned came into the office. He looked over & saw Nikolas sitting there. ''Hi Nikolas. How are you this morning?'', he asked cheerfully. ''I'm good, Ned, thanks. Actually, I was just waiting for you. I have some paperwork in my office that needs your signature.'', Nikolas told him. ''Ok, lets go have a look'', said Ned as he headed in the direction of Nikolas' office. Nikolas fell into step behind him, quietly taking a gun out from under his shirt. Just as they got to the door of his office, Nikolas turned the gun around & struck Ned in the back of his head, knocking him out. Nikolas then opened his office door & dragged Ned in. After locking the door, Nikolas turned Ned over & handcuffed his hands behind him, gagged & blindfolded him. Once Ned was secured, Nikolas took his cell phone & pressed the speed dial number. When he heard Helena answer the phone, Nikolas simply said, ''He's ready''. Helena smiled. ''Excellent work my dear. Two of my guards will be at the back door in five minutes.'', said Helena. She hung up & dispatched two guards to go get Ned for her. The guards had just barely left with Ned when Emily & Elizabeth walked in. After saying hello, Elizabeth smiled at Nikolas. ''Is Ned or Chloe here yet?'', she asked. ''Actually, I haven't seen Chloe & Ned left this for us'', he said, taking a forged note from his back pocket. Elizabeth read the note & looked at Emily. ''He says he has an emergency business meeting & will be back as soon as he can.'', she explained. ''That's weird, he didn't tell me anything about going away'', said Emily. ''Well, the note does say it was a last minute thing, so maybe he just didn't have time to tell you. I'm sure he'll call'', Elizabeth reassured her. ''Well, ladies, I have some business of my own to conduct, so I'm going to be out of my office for a while. I'll see you guys later'', Nikolas said with an easy smile. ''Ok, Nik. See you later'', said Emily & Elizabeth as Nikolas walked out. They never saw the look of satisfaction on his face as he left them. 
Andreas was taking a run on the island. Normally he would run through the park, but it was decided by all that it was not safe for him to do so until they had Helena under control. When he was done running, he found a quiet place on the island & started to do some cooling down exercizes. Unbeknownst to him, someone was watching him. This man's life was in danger & she knew it. She would watch from afar for now, but soon she would reveal herself. As she watched him, she couldn't help but notice how attractive he was. Perhaps under other circumstances...no, she couldn't allow herself to think that way. She shook her head & watched until she saw him disappear into Wyndemere. There was no way Helena Cassadine would win...not this time. Helena would be stopped if it was the last thing the observer did. 
After the manager left, Stefan went into his office. He took a couple of aspirin & went over everything in his head. How had this happened? He monitored the business end of things closely, but he never saw this coming. His train of thougth was interrupted by Mrs. Landsbury entering to announce that Laura Spencer was there to see him. ''I'm not available'', Stefan said with a sigh. ''She seems quite insistant. She says its urgent'', said Mrs. Landsbury. ''Fine, show her in, but tell her this will be brief.'', Stefan instructed. ''Yes sir'', said Mrs. Lansbury as she walked out of the room to fetch Laura. A moment later, Laura entered the office. She looked at him for a moment with conflicting feelings. She knew what Helena told her she had to do, but she didn't want to do it. ''Hello, Laura. What can I do for you'', he asked, very businesslike. Laura noted the cold tone to his voice. She then sighed & then squared her shoulders. She smiled at him. ''Hello, Stefan. I promise not to take up too much of your time.''

*****Chapter 5*****

Laura looked at Stefan for a long minute...looking deep into the green eyes she had gazed into so many times before. Eyes she had seen only love for her in. She knew right then & there that she couldn't betray him. "How secure is this room?", she whispered to him. He saw that her face went from cool to scared. "I can assure you nothing you say here will be heard by anyone else. What is troubling you, Laura?", he asked, concern evident in his voice. "First I need your word that you will try & help me with Lucky. Helena did something to him & I need to find out what & undo it.", Laura explained. Stefan had sensed that the boy was different & knew damn well that Helena had been behind it. "Of course, Laura, you have my word", he promised her. She studied him for a moment & knew that he was being sincere. "Helena sent me to hurt you", she confessed. "Hurt me? How?", asked Stefan, intrigued. "I was to get close to you, become your girlfriend again & then hurt you so that you wouldn't be able to defend yourself against Helena", she explained. Stefan stood up & paced behind his desk. So like Helena to go that route with him. This also made Stefan angry. The only way she could anger him more is if she used Nikolas against him. Stefan, then stopped & looked at Laura. He knew that if Helena found out about Laura's betrayal, not only would she not assist with Lucky, but she'd likely kill Laura for her betrayal. "Well, then, let's give Helena what she wants. We'll let her think that you are proceeding with her plan. This is to protect you & Lucky. In the meantime, we'll come up with a plan to foil Helena's efforts...if you're willing to participate", Stefan suggested. "If it brings Helena down, of course I will", she said. In the back of her mind, she thought about how she would also enjoy spending time with Stefan again. If she was going to be honest with herself, she had to admit that she missed him...she still loved him dearly. This would be something to discuss when this whole situation was taken care of. "Excellent. Dinner tonight? At the Grille? We'll be nice & public for Helena to witness", Stefan told her. "That sounds good.", she agreed. "I'll pick you up at 8:00", he told her. As she stood to leave, he put his hand gently on her arm. "Please try not to worry. I shall not allow Helena to harm you or Lucky any further", he promised. "Thank you, Stefan. You don't know how much that means to me", she told him with a small smile. After a moment's hesitation, she left. 
Stefan watched as she went. He noticed the hesitation. Did she still have feelings for him? He knew he did for her. He never stopped loving her & was never over her, no matter how much he told Helena, Alexis & Nikolas that he was. He decided that he would use this opportnity to win back Laura's heart. He smiled as he sat down & called the Grille to make the arrangements for that evening.
A short while later, Stefan received a message from his assistant. He was no longer CEO of General Hospital...Alan & Monica Quartermaine were planning on stopping by later to inform him of that fact. Stefan put that message aside with little thought. General Hospital, while a worthy cause, was a headache to run anyhow. Whoever was taking over would do so with Stefan's blessing & his appreciation for taking it off his hands. The next piece of information demanded some more attention...another of the Cassadine holdings had been taken over. This was curious to Stefan. The third buisness in 24 hours that he had lost control of. Stefan called his assistant & ordered him to find out who was responsible for each of the three losses. Stefan was certain that it as all the same person. He wanted to know who so he could keep an eye out & intercept any further takeover attempts. As he hung up, he took off his glasses & pinched the bridge of his nose. Its been an exhausting afternoon. Stefan decided that if he were to be at his best that evening with Laura, he should probably take a rest. Stefan then headed up to his bedroom to do so.  Andreas was taking a casual walk around the island, further familiarizing himself with the area. He had already found a spot that he knew he'd love to use for his work outs. Little did Andreas know that someone was watching him. As he stopped to look out over the harbor, enjoying the peace & quiet, Lucky Spencer was in his place, ready to complete his assignment
Lucky watched as Andreas stopped & looked out over the harbor. This was his moment. Lucky looked through the scope of his rifle & aimed directly for Andreas' heart. He took a steadying breath as he started to gently squeeze the trigger.
"GET DOWN! NOW!" shouted a female voice. Andreas turned to see a woman running towards him. He barely had time to register what was happening as she tackled him to the ground & covered him with her body just as a gunshot was heard. "Stay down. I'm sure he's not going to fire again...that first shot would have drawn attention. Amateur...he didn't use a silencer.", she explained to him. "What are you talking about? Who are you?", asked Andreas, trying to make sense of what just happened. "I'm talking about Helena Cassadine. I got word that she has ordered you to be killed immediately for your betrayal. As for who I am, I'm someone who has a score to settle with her as you now do. My name is Anna Devane-Scorpio", she said.
