BMW
My third and current BMW is another e36 but I bought it as a second car. Now I had big plans to mod this car to make it one of a kind. See below.

I already got for a 4x4 for my daily use in the treacherous JB roads. So the main purpose of getting this baby was to toy with. Even with the potential damages from using her on JB roads, I won’t feel so bad as I got her cheap off a guy in the BMWClubMalaysia forum.
After months of searching found this baby, whose owner already converted her from 318 to 325i with a mnual transmission
Let the transformation begin...
First the functionality upgrades. I replaced the aging parts of this car like the lights, some bushes, battery, window controls, rubber seals, the emblems, suspension (Bilstein B8s) and the front seats.
Now starts the massive body work. The widebody idea was long in my mind but didn’t know if anyone in Malaysia was capable of such work. After scouting around, decided to go for the fibre fender flares and adopt the e46 style bumpers for this ride. Planning alone took a couple of months and found a cheap and experienced workshop to send to. Some parts of the old fender needed to be cut. The fibre fenders were riveted and smoothened with bondo.
New suspension and brake discs / lining
New two-tone paintjob to go with the widebody look. The result was unbelievable even to me.
Finally it was done… well almost. I don’t quite fancy the rims recessed like that. Oh, well, that’s another project.
Anyway, a painstaking and rewarding project.
Didn’t spend as much as you would think. Pretty cheap work for a worthwhile effect.
The e46 M3 CSL trunk lid. Also fibre material.
A set of quad exhausts to go with the new e46 bumper. Also a set of carbon black emblems all around.
For the interior, new AC Schnitzer pedals and e-brake handles, ///M gear knobs, the ///M steering was already there, and a set of M-sport semi- bucket seats.
Now it’s done!
