BLINDFOLDED Fire attracts all the flies Like something free attracts the rich Who gives somebody the label "Different" ? Running into a situation blindfolded We sit around watching the weak bleed But we refuse to see ourselves undoing at the seams We've all forgotten how to believe in our dreams HATRED The nights disappear And days appear I feel as if the world's going to fall apart When I have a single crack in my heart Love is never really there But hatred is always there snacking on your mind FEAR Fear always comes when you do something no frightening It should come when you fall in love Fear doesn't really exist Never let fear control you Defeat fear Melt it into a pool and take a swim ~The above three poems were written and submitted by Tia Collins I ONCE BROKE A BOYS HEART Shatter, your heart does shatter So many pieces on the floor See the blood rushing off my guilty hands Too late to run now Too soon to deny Your look of innocence stabs my soul Your "I understand" mind makes my bones crumble To know that I hurt you, now signs my exaqution I told you that I would rip out my heart and give it to you But your unspoken words say it's no use The little dots that appear when I shut my eyes now seem to run away from me and into my skull Shatter, your heart does shatter Burn, your spirit does burn until all that is left is the smoke that turns to breath and leaves your body See the breath rush out of the window Too late to run now Too soon to deny I try to close the door but your eyes keep it open In my mind I see your heart, the heart that I have stolen "Sorry" doesn't exist anymore, it's way past that point The scent of fear blocks out the air The sea is like your heart, it breaks so easily as the love dies away Tears drop from your eyes like rain falls from rooftops Me, the only reflection in your eyes My cruelness burns like hell's fires Burn, your spirit does burn Sorry, sorry, sorry ~submitted and writen by Tia Collins Untitled To thy juliet, i am trapped in a castle cell with only a small window with bars, my faded soul has taken away my voice thus i cannot call out to you. Come rescue me on a beautiful white horse, protect the innocence of my eyes from all evil, mend thy wound i have inside my heart, feed thy soul which seems only to fade, wipe thy tears dwelled in my eyes, heal thy pain stained on my soul. Art thy not correct but to live life with a full heart than to die with an empty one? Thus saying i love thee before death will guarentee happiness and joy to the one soul that will remain for eternity, if not said to thee, thee will be nothing but a lost soul. Linda Khamu foxxy_linda@hotmail.com Whisper fear nothing, fear no one, for you are the one they fear, souls are sweating blood, skins have turned to paper, but nobody whispers a word. Ears can hear breath trembling, black tree crispy branch, but nobody whispers a word. Dusty dirt, powder like, an old widow climbs a mountain careless of her life, but nobody whispers a word. Red earth turned to grey, cat abandons her kitten, orange sun fields of light but nobody whispers a word. white daisy picked for fun, butcher looses his finger, but nobody whispers a word. blue moon king of the earth, master of the stars, goes down and never comes up but nobody whispers a word.Tangerine lips and picket teeth, bones as thick as trees, but nobody whispers a word. Eyes that steel the sky and lock it in their souls o the rest of us living can only excist in darkness, but nobody whispers a word. ~ Submitted by Linda Khamu Jewel Kilcher my eyes i thought were tricked, they were glued to your silky flesh and soft skin, just when i thought i'd grew my wings you began to sing and all my worrys, all my fears, all my life and world was in nutral. My breath hid itself, and my heart wouldn't pump as you marinated my soul with your words of living and happiness. I wonder when u looked at me, if you knew me, as i knew you, did we meet before? did u know me? do u know me?. I was on the edge of the cliff just about to go over when you drew my soul back into place and gave me a gift, a gift to go on, a gift to make me go after what i believe and love, the key to life, talent and happiness. Linda Khamu foxxy_linda@hotmail.com Freedom Tiring, crying, pooring.Facing a lonely parking lot. I was all alone. I'm being torn apart. The sky turned grey; the winds picked up. My heart was so beaten it was going to explode! Then, a uplifting feeling came over me. I started to fly! Higher and higher. My soul was cleansed and pure once more. ~Submitted by BLACK. Choices 5-25-98 She has known him for years, and he has brought her many tears. For a while they were apart, but now there love could be beautiful art. She wants him to be this certain way, but does he see it? She doesn't think so, But it's all-right not everyone is perfect. And when she kisses him, so soft and sweet. Does he see that her love could be complete? She thinks about him night and day, and loves him in each and everyday. She wants to take it nice slow, but it seems that he rushing her so. She made her decision, Has chosen between them, But has she chose the right one? That she can't decide, Well at least she tried.
