She also worked as actress ,music supervisor and co-director for some years in several amateur theatre groups and studied sound engineering at MIS(Museu da Imagem e do Som,in São Paulo,Brazil),Radio Production at SENAC-Santos,SP.,Brazil and English at Cultura Inglesa,in Santos,SP.,Brazil, for five years from where she got her two Cambridge University Certificates for foreign students.

 In 1987 she met Paul Gabrielleschi and decided to start Brazilian alternative and cult band CITY LIMITS.In 1988 she joined BURKINA FASSO and stayed with the band for five years.She also participated with CITY LIMITS and Marcelo Leal Pellegrini at The XXV Festival Musica Nova side by side to some respectable names in world avant garde music and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music),such as Gilberto Mendes and Jardes Macale.

In 1990 she was chosen by the critics as one of the best Brazilian singers along with Gal Costa and others.In 1991 she was invited to join INDIVIDUAL INDUSTRY,another band that became a cult one, with which she participated in several compilations and had a cd,"Templum Probus",now a rare item,released in Brazil,and in Germany in 1993,with worldwide independent distribuition.She left the band in 1995.In 1994 she formed another project,called Sicilian Unit and had two video clips for CITY LIMITS and SICILIAN UNIT songs released and shown on MTV BRASIL.Both videos participated at the 1995 TOKYO VIDEO FESTIVAL.

During 1994 she played in several festivals dedicated to electronic music and also shared the stage with Second Decay,a German synthpop band.SICILIAN UNIT ended in 1997.

In 1996,after several participations on cd compilations,CITY LIMITS had their first cd released in Germany with world independent distribuition.Also in 1996,Lilian Vaz started producing and presenting the ELECTRIC RADIO SHOW,a three-hour weekly radio programm,now in its third year.

In 1997,after ten years of successful existence in alternative scenes,CITY LIMITS was dissolved.

In 1998,Lilian Vaz formed UNIGLORY with Paul Gabrielleschi.Two UNIGLORY songs were recently included in the "Digital Synthesizer Industrial Electro-Gothic Compilation",released in March,1999. by ELECTROAD RECORDS,a Brazilian independent record label and fanzine.

Now Lilian Vaz is looking for another record label to release officially all UNIGLORY's material and make her work known around the world.
