Welliecat Welliecat Welliecat is also known to some, although not very many, as Noelle. Anyone who knows her calls her Wellie or Well, which she prefers.
Every year at tax time (and some years on Easter), April 15, remember to send Wellie a gift (or at least email a card) as she celebrates her birthday that day - since 1974. Wellie is currently single but rooming with her ex. It's an amicable situation that works well financially and for the kids stability. "I'll always be friends with Mark. From the time I was very young I've been the type to pave my own path and I refuse to follow the "rules" when it comes to divorce. I will not ruin my daughter's wedding day or my son's graduation because their parents cannot be in the same room. It's a copasetic situation and it works for us."
She currently lives in Northern California but has also lived in wine country, aka Calistoga, CA. She grew up in Palos Verdes Estates, CA (Southern California) and would love to return there someday. "I feel a sense of comfort when I know the beach is less than a mile away. The storms are incredible."
In her spare time she loves swimming, reading, writing, (not 'rithmatic), driving her kids crazy, and of course, HT. Her dream is "to become the next Dr. Seuss or Shel Silverstein gone female and to raise my little people to become productive, positive, self-assured, and happy big people". Wellie is currently pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a professional swimmer. "If I don't make the Olympics, I would at least like to make the Nationals. I don't think that's too much to ask and it's definitely something that is not out of my reach." As far as the internet goes, Wellie says "I swore I'd never have the internet in my house. "Evil! Pure evil!" I said.

Well, here I am. Every day. Every night. I'm addicted and I'm not afraid or ashamed to admit it! I'm designing websites, have my own online business, I taught myself HTML...it's whacked.
I'm still not sure how I ended up in HT, but I'm here to stay. I've met so many awesome people who have made me laugh, cry, and want to pull my hair out all at the same time. I've laughed so hard I've woken up my kids. I've been so pissed off I've just gone and hit the power button. But, I've always come back. I think that we are a crazy, insane, lovable bunch of people with some sort of dysfunctional bond and I wouldn't have it any other way!"
