I know, I know. It's been forever since I wrote anything in the updates. So stone me. . oh wait you can't I'm still a ghost. ^_~
At any rate the club, er group, was going well for a short while there again. Then it all died. I got really busy by going off to college myself. I'm sorry, Tellah. You can ress me later. ^_^
The good news is I did manage to finish the magic page at the main site. Just click in the sentance above to go there and check it out. This is still all freeform and I'm not trying to limit you or anything. Just trying to give a guide for those who are new or need refreshing.

Wow, I got bad about these updates didn't I? Well I sent that July update, so those already in knew we were still alive. But not keeping up with the updates here, kinda takes away the meaning of that sentence on the front page where I say check here to see that we're still active. lol.
I'm sorry that the Yahoo group sent the August Update to everyone twice. Yeah, I know the July Update did that too, I don't know why, I only sent once. I'm sure it has something to do with it being a special notice.
I haven’t really updated this page in forever, but I know Dione has been working here, doing things here and there. But you know her, she’s worse about updates than I am, which is why I get to do them all. ^_~ I was thinking about breaking these updates into three different pages, sorted by years. To cut down on the scrolling.
We’re no longer linked from the Ayenee rp board, but then no one ever clicked that anyway. How do I know? Well I checked the stats with GeoCities. The most visits we get come when we open a room in chat.

The school has seemed to hit one of those low periods. People just don't seem interested in magic right now. No to worry, we have been through our fair share of these and have learned to roll with it.
The club/group is still going strong, even though there's a lack of numbers posting, they're pretty good at posting just about every day. A lot of excitment going on there. If you want to join send e-mail to the school or to Allison and just ask.

I've put up a background image on the main page and made some little image bars for the site. Both these are simply a rune font I found. The background says Stormshadow School, and the bar says Stormshadow School of Magic.
I've taken some of the old classes off the list, as well as teachers that have long been missing. But if I was wrong in doing this and you are a teacher that still teaches, or wants to be listed, then simply let me know. Or let Dione know and she'll let me know.
The club changed over to Groups, and Yahoo lost our archive of over 200 messages. Everything that's been done in the club since it was created in the summer of 1999 is gone. Lost forever. We're all a bit upset about it, but I'm sure it won't be long before we're posting again.

I added a couple of profiles today. Um, that's about all. I linked them in the menus as well.

I've updated a profile and the glossary. I changed the color and number display for the counter. I tried a new look to the site, but didn't like it and took it back down.
I fixed the application form for students and am writing this update before I've done the same to the teachers. My radio buttons now work like radio buttons, and I've put checkboxes where I need to.
I'm gonna change the form I use for making profiles too. It'd out dated and I don't even put up all the info I ask for right now.

I added more to the title page, I know that's not much, but in case you haven't realized I normaly give every little boring detail here. Well it seems that way, but isn't always so. There is a new addition to the library. I'm happy about that. However Ramina seems to be the only one that ever contributes. I'd really love more stuff in there, ooc or ic. Right now everything is ic, but ooc stuff on how to play magic rp would be really nice.

I fixed a couple of broken links that didn't open in the right frame. I also made a new title image and a title page. The title page is to help me keep up with the site stats. Because my index page was a frame, GeoCities wouldn't tell me where everyone was linking to us from, or if they used search engines. All that old info is lost forever, but I'll be able to tell from this day forward.
I'm about to go through the lists of students, teachers, and classes again, weeding out the ones I haven't heard from in awhile.

Not much to update. I did fix a misspelled word in the glossary that someone was nice enough to fill out the form and point out. Thank you, whoever you were. ^_^
The club is still going strong and a lot has happened there. If you aren't a member and want an invite just Email me and I'll get you an invite to the club. Or find me on Yahoo messenger as Allison_Quickarrow.
