MANNEQUIN

Mannequin is definitely not one of the best movies ever made, but nevertheless, it's an enjoyable 80's movie montage. Starring an ever adorable Andrew McCarthy and a young Kim Cattrall, this movie follows the story of a down-on-his-luck artist Jonathon Switcher (McCarthy). The movie opens with a scene in ancient Egypt where a young Egyptian woman (Cattrall), who refuses to be married off to a camel-dung dealer, begs the gods to take her away. The movie then fast forwards to the present (or in this case, the 1980s), where Jonathon, after attempting to work as a professional artist, finds a job at a mannequin company. He creates a beautiful mannequin (Cattrall) and falls in love with her.. As you can imagine, many quirky adventures follow.
