Joseph Alvin Gladstone
Joseph is rarely called Joseph.. except by his father, who is a colonel in the army.. and sometimes by Jesse.. who says it to sound cool.
In the first season or so, Joey lived in the alcove in the living room.. which is similar to a closet.. but without a door. Later on he was moved into a newly renovated room downstairs where the garage used to be. The Tanners made him this room as a surprise while he was away on a trip. When he came home.. he thought that they had forgotten all about him.. and he says something about them forwarding his mail to the gutter... or something.

Joey does stand up comedy for a living. For a short time, he had his own television show for kids called "Ranger Joe" ... this is where we are introduced to "Mr. Woodchuck".. .. and "Lumberjack Jess"
Later on he teams up with Jesse to form an advertising company called J&J Creative Services.
