Curtain Call
This is a fun movie. Really cute.. and James Spader does physical comedy, which is such a novelty I might have recommended it anyway..

Keys To Tulsa
A character-driven action movie. Solid cast, good direction. Lacks plot focus.

Critical Care
An intense, absorbing movie about a hospital that keeps patients alive to keep collecting money. Not dark enough.

Crash
I haven't seen this movie, and I don't intend to. I'm pretty sure it would make me catatonic with fear. But Cronenberg is a brilliant director, so I'm recommending it anyway. STOP TELLING ME I HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE! It's none of your damn business.

2 Days in the Valley
Funny, violent action movie. Spader at his creepiest.

Wolf
"Did he say on his shoe or in his shoe?" Great werewolf movie.. pretty good movie.

Dream Lover
Brilliant thriller. Very intense and erotic, with a GREAT ending.

The Music of Chance
Not Spader's usual role. Here he plays a down-on-his-luck gambler who teams up with Mandy Patinkin for the score of their lives. Unfortunately, things don't work out at all.

Storyville
Incredibly atmospheric movie about a politician trying to find out about his past. Lots of twists and turns in this plot.

True Colors
It's been a while since I've seen this. It stars two of my favorite actors, though, and I remember it as very good.

Tuff Turf
I have a soft spot in my heart for this old turkey. It's the first Spader movie I ever saw. Camp value out the wazoo. Also, I have to give it credit for introducing me to the Jim Carroll Band.
