This message is nothing else as one the PR-tricks from Scientology to create some positive buzz about this movie. I'm sure we can expect more in the following weeks. One word to 'American Book Readers Association'. We couldn't find any website, phone number or address. The only thing what we know, that this 'Association' is located in Monroe, N. Carolina. I hope some journalists can check this organisation!

L. Ron Hubbard, 'Battlefield Earth,' Named Best Sci-Fi Author, Book Of 20th Century by American Book Readers Association

LOS ANGELES, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Book Readers Association has selected L. Ron Hubbard and Battlefield Earth -- his epic novel of alien domination and human rebellion in the year 3000 A.D. -- as the best science fiction author and book of the 20th century.
Battlefield Earth, which is the source material for the forthcoming sci-fi adventure from Morgan Creek and Franchise Pictures, is one of Mr. Hubbard's most popular works, having sold more than five and a half million copies worldwide and been translated into twenty languages, according to Scott Welch of Bridge Publications. Battlefield Earth, the motion picture will be distributed by Warner Bros. on May 12.
